Details of this retreat

Rediscover your Awareness. Restore your Equanimity. Return with Contentment.

You’ve built a reasonably good life, and checked most of the boxes—career, family, responsibilities. And yet, a quiet doubt gnaws at you:

Is this all that there is? Not that anything is falling apart, still, something doesn’t feel quite right. A lingering discontent bothers you (when you draw attention to your inner self). Perhaps you’ve outgrown old roles, maybe you are carrying a grief or an old wound behind a confident smile, or have spent years caring for others, while postponing your own well-being. If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone—and change is possible.

At Amrutham in Kovalam, our 3.5-day Signature Retreat invites you to step away from autopilot and unconscious and come home to Yourself. Rooted in India’s time-tested ancient traditions and aligned with modern, evidence-based practices, in behavioural psychology, this immersive (and some might even say intense) program helps you craft a purposeful way of living—one you can take back into your daily life with clarity, steadiness and effortless ease.

Schedule

Your Journey Through the Silent Signature Retreat (3.5 Days)

1.    Thursday – Crossing the Threshold - You arrive at Amrutham in the late afternoon. As you settle in, the outer world begins to fade. There’s a gentle orientation, an introduction to the vow of silence, and a moment to set your intention. By evening, devices are set aside, conversations soften, and the retreat container is sealed. You go to bed early, knowing the days ahead are designed for immersion, clarity, and restoration.

2.    Friday – Entering the Silence - At dawn, the sound of the gong awakens you. The morning unfolds with guided meditation and yoga, setting a rhythm of awareness that will carry you through the day. After a nourishing Ayurvedic breakfast, theory and practical sessions weave together ancient philosophy and modern science—helping you understand both the “why” and “how” of the practices.
The day balances depth with ease: immersive group sessions, reflective personal time, mindful meals, and restorative breaks. As dusk approaches, you gather in silence for guided reflection and gentle practices that prepare body and mind for rest. Lights go out by 9:30 pm, aligning you with the body’s natural cycles.

3.    Saturday – Deepening the Practice - Again, the gong calls you into the stillness of morning. By now, silence feels less like a requirement and more like a gift. Meditation deepens; breathwork and movement release what no longer serves.
Midday brings teaching sessions and experiential exercises, giving you tools to understand habit change, emotional balance, and resilience. Ayurvedic therapies may be incorporated to cleanse and nourish, supporting the inner work with embodied healing.
In the evening, community gathers—still in silence—for a circle of reflection. You feel both held and spacious, part of something intimate yet deeply personal. The day closes with practices that ease you into profound rest.

4.    Sunday – Integration and Renewal - On the final day, silence continues to hold you, but there’s a gentle shift toward integration. Morning practices bring clarity, followed by sessions that help you design your own daily blueprint: sustainable routines for mornings, meals, and evenings, anchored in the ACE framework—Awareness, Contentment, Equanimity. Before departure, digital devices are returned, and resolutions are set. The retreat concludes not with an ending, but with a beginning: you leave with a lighter body, a clearer mind, and a toolkit for living with steadiness and purpose.

5.    Intensity with Care: The days are full, yet thoughtfully paced with breaks, modifications and support. You’re invited to bring your full presence; we’ll meet you with guidance and warmth.
