About this Retreat
I am Marion van Schagen and I am a guide for people who wants to come home in theirself.
With meditation, energetic work, dance and using of sound, I offer them a space where they can discover who they really are - in stead of what they think they are.
I am a meditation teacher and has followed the whole Awakening your Light Body course (also the teachers course) and that is still my startingpoint for all the meditations I give.
My skills for energetic work have I learned from Joanne van Wijgerden from the Healing Arts.
Details of this retreat
Start the New Year in Silence, in Being Present
When it becomes quiet within, you can listen to that silent voice of your Self.
The voice that knows exactly what the next steps in your life are.
The voice that tells you what wants to be expressed through you.
The voice that can give you the answers to the questions you’ve been asking yourself for so long—questions your mind cannot answer.
In a world that is becoming ever fuller and louder, this Vipassana silent retreat offers a rare opportunity: space to truly come to rest, to turn inward, and to connect with what is essential.
No distractions, no words—only silence, breath, awareness.
Vipassana, also called “insight meditation,” is an ancient meditation practice from the Buddhist tradition. By being present with whatever is—without judgment, without explanation, without story—clarity, calm, and insight arise. In the silence, anything may surface that is ready to be released. Suppressed feelings, old patterns, deep-rooted beliefs—they can all appear and be let go, without drama, without explanation.
What Silence Does for You
Silence is not emptiness, but a rich field in which you can meet your true Self. It is far greater and more expansive than you imagine yourself to be.
In silence you can:
enter into slowing down
refine your attention and allow the mind to become clearer
experience space for deeper insights and emotional healing
feel an inner joy, peace, and harmony that do not depend on external circumstances
For Whom?
This retreat is for anyone who wants to begin the new year with Being, rather than with resolutions.
For those who long for deeper connection with their Self, for rest, clarity, and simplicity.
For those who long for the spaciousness in which you meet your true Self.
Whether you have meditation experience or not—you are welcome.
Structure of the Days
Each morning we start with yoga, allowing the energy generated during the silence to be embodied.
The rest of the day consists of sitting and walking meditation in a cycle of 40 minutes sitting, 20 minutes slow walking, and a fifteen-minute break. At the end of the day, there is an active body meditation.
If at any point you feel the need for a coaching session, there is space for that as well.
