ANCESTRAL MEDICINE OF THE AMAZON

Let me introduce myself, my name is Clara Sofia. Very young I wondered about the human condition and my inner well-being. This quest has been at the center of my life's web that I am still weaving today. A quest for truth that motivated me to study in the highest academic circles in order to understand our world and know how I can contribute to it in a positive way. With a master's degree in International Relations and a MBA in Marketing & Communication Strategies (BAC+5), I became a specialist in Public Relations and Brand Development, skills that I have put to the service of advertising and branding agencies at the start of my career, followed by the Art and Music Industry and then in Well-Being & Health & Spirituality. After 10 years a marketing manager, I understood that the best thing to promote is consciousness. Originally from France and Amazigh from Kabylia, I grew up in Switzerland and traveled around the world since my first age. This must be the reason why I developed a passion for cultures and traditions very early on. This interest became obvious during a trip to Arizona whan I was 13, where I first saw Native American for real. I was collecting images from them since I was a child then I was so impressed and fascinated and something in me was telling me to go deeper in their ancient culture. A second strong memory was during a trip to Bali, Indonesia when I was 15. Enchanted by the mystism that reigned on this island, I wanted to become a Buddhist. So I read books and started meditation when I was 20, strongy believing that the way to calm my metal and anxiety inherited from my family was to do meditation. At 26, life led me, after a 4 years of psychology to treat anorexia, to shamanism & sacred plants. There I found the key to my freedom, because learning is fast if you are ready to see. So I experienced my first shamanic ceremony with Ibowga from Gabon, then I continued my healing journey with Reiki and sacred geometry, coupled with ceremonies with the master plant Ayahuesca mainly in the Shipibo and Cofan traditions. A few years later, I organized myself ceremonies with traditional doctors from Colombia Putumayo and the Shipibos from Peru as well as healing festivals and workshops in my position as Marketing Director for a Eco Hotel in Berlin. Then I traveled to Colombia because the guidance of the Ayahuesca told me to go to the Source of Everything, repeating this message during 6 month I decided to listen to it. The plant called me on its territory. There I directly met the Arhuaco First Nation and was initiated into the ancestral wisdoms from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and Putumayo at the Doors of the Amazon Rainforest. Initiated by these wise men and woman, on my return to Europe, I continued my training with initiations to the divine feminie energy such as Mary-Magdalena, Isis the Christ Consciousness and the Ascendant Masters. At 39, I became a mother of child from an Arhuaco father who is a Mamo - spiritual guide. With the birth of my son my skills as a healer revealed and I received the ancestral songs as a gift. The Mother Ayahuesca gave me the cacao ceremony as a gift, a way to express my healing songs in groups and train before to become a Mama of Ayahuesca and a Saga from the Sierra. The healing I offer are powerful tools because we can free our intergenerational memories, the memories of the collective, the memories of our soul and many other blockages, while reconnecting with our self. This allows us to move forward in our life, to manifest our dreams in matter, with much less resistance. Our mind keeps its place and our heart becomes the first actor in our life. So we realize ourselves by allowing the upliftment of our soul. In April 2025 I have been appointed official delegate of the First Nation of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta by the Confederacion Indigena Tayrona. It is a great honor to have the right to represent the natives of this sacred territory with whom I have been weaving since 2017.

ANCESTRAL WISDOM OF THE KAMENSTA FIRST NATION, AMAZON, COLOMBIA Mama Concha, yagécera and curandera from the Kamentsa community of Sibundoy, practices healing with ancestral yagé medicine and medicinal plants from the Amazon. Her parents were Maima and Taita, and she has been drinking medicine since childhood and giving it for many years.
