Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP): This is an evidence-based listening therapy designed to help regulate the nervous system and improve social engagement by using specially filtered music to stimulate the vagus nerve.
Nourishing Cuisine: Savor delicious, health-conscious meals featuring fresh, local ingredients, tailored to your dietary needs.
Mind-Body Activities: Participate in a variety of sessions, including yoga, breathwork, sound healing, and reiki, to strengthen the mind-body connection.

We are excited to offer a Rainstick Workshop as a special addition to your retreat experience! This hands-on session will allow you to create your very own rainstick, a traditional instrument used by indigenous cultures to invoke the sound of rain.

Workshop Details:

Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour
Materials provided: All necessary materials to create a rainstick, including wooden tubes, nails, glue, paint, and decorative elements.
Instructor: Our experienced instructor will guide you through every step of the process, sharing insights into the cultural significance and history of the rainstick. The workshop is designed for all skill levels, from beginners to those with previous crafting experience.
Location: The workshop will take place on the retreat grounds, see itinerary for date.

How to construct and personalize your rainstick using materials provided.
Techniques for decorating your rainstick, making it a unique piece of art.

2nd day - Breakfast, Nature Walk, 50-minute emotion regulation with 15 minute Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Rainstick workshop (60 minutes) Lunch, 50-minute emotion regulation with 15 minute Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Nature walk or Breakout
3rd day- Breakfast, Yoga group class, 50-minute emotion regulation with 15 minute Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Lunch, 50-minute emotion regulation with 15 minute Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Excursion to Xunantunich, Nature walk or Breakout
4th day - Breakfast, 50-minute emotion regulation with 15 minute Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Lunch and the beach in Hopkins village, Belize, 50-minute emotion regulation with 15 minute Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
5th day- Breakfast, 50-minute emotion regulation with 30 minute Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Lunch and Closing, travel to airport

Directions

Guest will take a flight to the Philip S. Goldson International Airport in Belize then take shuttle to Bullet Tree Falls on the George Price Highway.

A large, private lap pool measuring 10 feet by 75 feet and only 4 feet deep, perfect for recreation and relaxation amidst the tropical landscape. Extensive outdoor areas, including an uncovered deck/patio, balcony, and veranda with a sitting area and a hammock, which offer views of the Mopan River and surrounding jungle canopy. Accommodations style, cottages featuring two twin size beds and en-suite bathroom. A separate hall space is available for yoga and other events with river view.
