About this Retreat
With a foundation in contemporary dance, Esther Kaijim carries a deeply embodied understanding of how the human body moves, expresses, suffers, and ultimately repairs itself. Years spent honing her craft on stage also brought moments of profound physical strain and personal unwellness—experiences that became the catalyst for her search for deeper forms of healing.
This journey led her to Kambô, a practice that resonated with her both physically and spiritually. Through her own transformative encounters with the medicine, Esther discovered a renewed sense of clarity, resilience, and connection. Inspired by the profound shifts she experienced, she committed herself wholeheartedly to learning, refining, and sharing this work.
Today, Esther brings the sensitivity of an artist, the insight of someone who has moved through pain, and the devotion of a practitioner who has witnessed true healing. Her approach is grounded, intuitive, and deeply respectful of the body’s innate wisdom.
