Driven by her passion in community, she hosts affordable wellness events that create accessible, supportive spaces for reflection, healing, and community connection. In Jamaica, 10% of all Afterlight retreat profits directly fund mental health support for individuals affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Details of this retreat
If you had three uninterrupted days with a therapist, what would you finally address— burnout, unresolved grief, anxiety, or a life transition that hasn’t settled yet?
We invite you to our 3-Day EMDR Therapy Intensive, is a private, beach-based therapeutic residency designed for deep, focused psychological work .
This intensive takes place in a quiet two-bedroom beachfront cottage, walking distance from Rick’s Café and the cliffs of Negril’s West End. The setting offers calm, privacy, and natural regulation, allowing the nervous system to settle while therapeutic work unfolds.
Led by Dr. Crystyn Scott, PhD, this program uses CBT and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in an intensive format. Rather than weekly sessions spread over months, therapy is delivered through extended, multi-hour sessions across three days, creating continuity, momentum, and depth. This structure allows clients to process distressing memories, emotional blocks, and entrenched patterns more efficiently and with greater containment.
Between sessions, time is intentionally left for rest, reflection, gentle movement, and time by the sea. Breakfast is included each morning to support a grounded, unhurried rhythm.
This experience is ideal for those seeking serious therapeutic progress in a contained, restorative environment — without ceremony or altered states.
