Sasha is a certified Somatic Psychedelic Facilitator, Integration Coach and Counsellor, Breathwork Practitioner, and Yoga Instructor based in Vancouver, BC.
My training:
I am a life-long yogi with over 30 years of dedicated practice, and more than 13 years of experience guiding and studying breathwork across a variety of traditions. My primary influences include Holotropic Breathwork, Transformational Breathwork, Alternate Nostril Breathing, and classical Yogic Pranayama.
I completed a four-year apprenticeship in Psychedelic Facilitation with Lana and Ivan Rados through Intronaut in Vancouver, where I trained in both therapeutic and ceremonial facilitation settings, assisting over 400 clients.
I have also completed the PESI Comprehensive Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy training with Dr. Frank Anderson, Dr. Richard C. Schwartz, Dr. Bessel A. van der Kolk, and Dr. Martha Sweezy.
In addition, I hold a Somatic Psychedelic Facilitator certification from Dr. Devon Christie, Atira Tan, and Chara Cuthers with The Embody Lab, deepening my understanding of trauma-informed and body-centred approaches to healing.
My learning and growth are ongoing, and I remain committed to continually refining my practice through further education, training, embodied experience, and of course continuing my own personal healing.
My Healing Journey:
I began my healing journey 13 years ago when I stumbled upon breathwork, and experienced a profound transformation that changed the course of my life. For as long as I can remember, I had lived with anxiety and depression. I was deeply identified with my mind, without realizing how little access I had to my heart. I felt as though I was living only half a life — often numb, and at other times overwhelmed.
Discovering the power of my breath was life-changing. For the very first time, I began to experience glimpses of peace. They were subtle at first, but they were real — and they were enough to keep me going. As I continued to explore breathwork, my path expanded to include psychedelic healing, combined with somatic and psychotherapeutic integration. These practices supported me in softening, opening, and steadily returning home to myself.
As a result of this work, I am now more heart-centred, grounded, and authentically myself than I have ever been. Turmoil, difficulty, and pain may arise, but today I’m able to feel the full spectrum of my experience while remaining connected to an unshakeable underlying peace that my younger self could never have imagined.
I hold immense gratitude for all of my teachers — seen and unseen — who have guided me along the way. In return, I feel called to give back for all that I have received and continue to receive, supporting others as they step into radical self-responsibility, accountability, and ultimately radical self-love. For me, I have learned this is where true freedom lives.
