Details of this retreat
This is a Immersive Indigenous Retreat in the Heart of the Forest
This is not a retreat you visit — it is a life in the jungle that you experience. Our Amazon Retreteats Immersion invites you to step beyond observation and truly live as part of an indigenous village, experiencing daily life exactly as it is, guided by real shamans and elders who carry ancestral wisdom passed down through generations. From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed as family. You will sleep in traditional village homes, eat the same meals prepared and shared by the community, and participate in the natural rhythm of village life — simple, grounded, and deeply connected to the land. Every day is an invitation to slow down, listen, and reconnect with what is essential.
So you will take part in authentic indigenous ceremonies with natural plant medicines, guided by experienced Shanenawa shamans in their sacred village. These ceremonies are not staged experiences — they are living traditions, practiced exactly as they have been for centuries. You will learn directly from the community about their culture, history, cosmology, and way of relating to nature, spirituality, and each other.
Integration Through Yoga & Meditation
To support the depth of the experience, the retreat also includes daily yoga and meditation sessions, designed to help you integrate everything you are living in the forest — emotionally, physically, and spiritually. These practices create space for reflection, grounding, and inner clarity, allowing ancient indigenous wisdom and modern self-awareness tools to meet in harmony.
