About this Retreat
I was born and raised in the north of Denmark, playing in the meadows, forests, and on the wild northern coast, where the wind, forest, and sea shaped my life and my heart. From an early age, I felt a deep connection to nature and a curiosity about the unseen forces that guide life.
Throughout my journey, I have searched for what we all secretly long for — that missing light, the divine spark of wisdom and presence that feels absent in the modern world, the inner radiance the Gnostics called Sophia: the feminine aspect of the divine, the light that illuminates the soul and calls us home. For years I wandered through mystic places like Spiritual India and Nepal, studying Philosophy, Buddhism, Anthropology, Personal Development, NLP, Spirituality, Reality Transsurfing, and the teachings of figures from Socrates and Aurelius to Jesus, Rumi, Buddha, and the oldest Sumerian texts. Yet it was through deep immersion in Norse wisdom, the cosmology of Yggdrasil, and the transformative path of Inner Alchemy that I finally found it — not as an external doctrine, but as the living light within, the reconnection to our true core.
My professional path in design and game development, including 3D modeling for firms like LEGO, unexpectedly deepened my understanding of how consciousness manifests in the physical world. Later, I held highly demanding marketing roles, managing multi-million budgets in collaboration with global tech companies such as Sony and Apple — experiences that taught me structure, creativity, and the flow of energy in human systems.
For decades, I have studied the work shared by shamans, wise women, and seiðr-workers — a winding theme full of surprises, yet always guiding me back to myself and to that eternal light. I do not teach in the traditional sense; I hold space, share stories, and facilitate inner exploration, helping guests reconnect with their own inner wisdom, presence, and the Sophia-light that has always been there, waiting to be remembered through the ancient map of Yggdrasil.
Icelandic Horses – Living Teachers of Conjunction & Wholeness
The Icelandic horses serve as profound, living facilitators in the alchemical stage of Conjunction during select NorseHeart retreats. With their calm disposition, sure-footed gait, and gentle yet powerful presence, these 50 Icelandic horses embody the weaving of opposites into harmony—mirroring the Norns at Urd’s Well, who unite past, present, and future into a single thread of fate.
On the dedicated horseback day, riders experience a deep union with nature and self across dunes, forests, and sweeping North Sea views near Nørre Lyngby, Nørlev Strand and Skallerup. The steady rhythm of the horse's movement invites integration: what has been purified through earlier stages (body, mind, spirit; light and dark; conscious and unconscious) is now synthesized into a new, balanced whole. The horses act as mirrors and power animals—reflecting your courage, boundaries, trust, and willingness to embrace interconnectedness with all life.
These horses are not mere mounts; they are wise companions rooted in Norse heritage. Descended from the sturdy breeds brought by Viking settlers, Icelandic horses carry an ancient, grounded energy that fosters presence and embodiment. Suitable for beginners to experienced riders, their pleasant tolt and calm nature create a safe space for vulnerable inner work—allowing riders to move through shifting terrain (both external and internal) with grace and confidence.
In the spirit of Conjunction—the "alchemical marriage"—riding with Icelandic horses becomes a living ritual: the union of rider and horse, human and nature, fragmented self and renewed wholeness. As you ride beneath open skies, you awaken the heart's awakening and realize your deep belonging to the web of life.
Your time with these horses is an adventure to remember: a tangible embodiment of integration, where trust in the horse becomes trust in your own emerging harmony.

ÁLFABLÓT Retreat 2026 – Ancestors, Shadows & Sacred Belonging
At the edge of autumn, when Halloween lights the surface and the deeper dark begins to rise, ÁLFABLÓT is for those who know there is more to this season than costumes and candy. Over five days in wild Northern Denmark, you enter a held, ceremonial space to meet ancestors, nature spirits, and your own shadow—shame, anger, grief—not as enemies to fix, but as lost parts longing to come home.
The heart of this retreat is Ancestors, Elves & Shadows: guided rituals in the dusk and dark, storytelling about the Norse underworlds, and circles where what has felt “too much” or “too heavy” finally has somewhere safe to land. Halloween symbolism makes it easier to approach what is usually avoided, while Nordic myth and grounded facilitation keep the work deep, not gimmicky. This is spiritual work beyond “light and love”—fiercely compassionate, honest, and rooted.
One potent day is Ride With Your Shadow, where sensitive Nordic horses become living mirrors for your hidden patterns. As you ride through fields and forest in the low autumn light, the horse reflects where you over‑control, collapse, or disappear—and where you can choose a clearer, kinder way of being with yourself. Later, twilight rituals for ancestors and land spirits invite you to stand in the line of those who came before you, held rather than haunted.
