Retreat Highlights
This retreat is designed as a full‑body exhale - a chance to immerse yourself in nature, movement, community, and the slower rhythms of Greek mountain life.
Through guided movement and intentional stillness, you’ll explore practices that reconnect you to your essence, invite introspection, and prepare you for the seasonal shift ahead.
Ananda is a movement practitioner, teacher, and constant student. She began her yoga practice in NYC in 2002, and has been teaching internationally, whilst exploring diverse movement disciplines along the way, since 2008. Ananda has studied with Vidya Heisel of Frog Lotus Yoga, Jasmine Tarkeshi and Dana Flynn of Laughing Lotus, Jill Miller of Yoga Tune Up®, Andres Vesga of the Ido Portal Method, and Olivier Goetgeluck of Fighting Monkey. She is currently training to be a Feldenkrais (Awareness Through Movement) practitioner. Over the years, she has come to believe that universal principles underlie all systems and that integration, as opposed to compartmentalization, enhances quality of life. Ananda believes in authenticity, autonomy, and creative expression in teaching. Her classes combine athleticism with intelligence, lyricism with methodology, the sensual with the cerebral.
Joanna first discovered yoga in her early uni days almost twenty years ago, but it wasn’t until 2018-while living and working in Nepal-when the practice really began to resonate with her. Through regular yin sessions, she learned how the body can be a safe space, and how yoga can quietly support healing. After years in humanitarian and human rights work, a number of retreats, and countless hours on the mat, Joanna has embarked on a training journey with Bruce Chung, Rebecca Hajek and Jo Phee. Joanna’s classes blend playful flow and storytelling, inviting gentle introspection and softness, with a focus on honoring each person’s unique structure.
Details of this retreat
As the air turns crisp and whispers of autumn drift through the trees, nature begins its graceful surrender to winter. Honouring this quiet metamorphosis, we invite you to celebrate the spaces between seasons – a sanctuary of stillness where you can explore the art of undoing. Unrushed and attuned to the rhythms of nature, embrace transition and the deep wisdom of wintering.
Step through a guided doorway into the season of self. By turning inward, welcome the invitation to withdraw and transform. This is a time to release what no longer serves, trust the cycles of life, lean into the cold outside, retreat into your inner winter, and make space for the promise of renewal.
Nestled where the mountains meet the sea, Pelion Homes offer a sanctuary of rest and nourishment in an undiscovered corner of Greece.
Join us in this mythical land of centaurs and savour the quiet beauty of Greece’s lesser-known autumn. Breathe in fresh mountain air, wander secluded beaches along the Pagasetic Gulf, feast on local wine, and nourish your body with organic meals. Through guided movement and intentional stillness, you’ll explore practices that reconnect you to your essence, invite introspection, and prepare you for the seasonal shift ahead.
