About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

As the air turns crisp and whispers of autumn drift through the trees, nature begins its graceful surrender to winter. Honouring this quiet metamorphosis, we invite you to celebrate the spaces between seasons – a sanctuary of stillness where you can explore the art of undoing. Unrushed and attuned to the rhythms of nature, embrace transition and the deep wisdom of wintering.

Step through a guided doorway into the season of self. By turning inward, welcome the invitation to withdraw and transform. This is a time to release what no longer serves, trust the cycles of life, lean into the cold outside, retreat into your inner winter, and make space for the promise of renewal.

Nestled where the mountains meet the sea, Pelion Homes offer a sanctuary of rest and nourishment in an undiscovered corner of Greece.

Join us in this mythical land of centaurs and savour the quiet beauty of Greece’s lesser-known autumn. Breathe in fresh mountain air, wander secluded beaches along the Pagasetic Gulf, feast on local wine, and nourish your body with organic meals. Through guided movement and intentional stillness, you’ll explore practices that reconnect you to your essence, invite introspection, and prepare you for the seasonal shift ahead.

Option 1: Car rental allows you to have the freedom to move around. The roads in Greece are generally of good quality - speaking from a perspective of an inexperienced driver who has managed to navigate the Greek mountains :) Both Thessaloniki and Athens airports offer a wide range of car rental companies. Each villa at Pelion has its own parking spot.

Option 2: Flying to Volos and getting a taxi from there. From Brussels Charleroi, Ryanair flies to Volos twice a week, but the schedule now is only available till the end of October. There are buses from the airport into Volos city centre. Getting a taxi from the Volos City Centre should be around 30 EUR. Volos Airport to Pelion Homes is around €85 with a four seater taxi.

Option 3: You can get a train to Larissa either from Athens or Thessaloniki. In Athens, the train departs from the Larissa Station (Athens Central Railway Station), located in Kolonos and easily accessible via Metro Line 2 (Red Line, connected to the airport line). The cost of a taxi to Pelion Homes from Larissa train station is 100 EUR. The train schedule will be announced on the Hellenic Trains website.

Option 4: Pelion Homes can help arrange a taxi to pick you up from Thessaloniki or Athens, or you can do it directly through the service like Volos Taxis, GetTransfers.com or similar.

The cost of a shared transfer from Thessaloniki (fits 4 people) is 200-210 EUR
The cost of a shared taxi from Athens (fits 4 people) is around 270 - 300 EUR.
Pelion Homes can also arrange a minibus to pick everyone up from Athens, min. 10 people - 70 EUR per person. From Thessaloniki with a minibus it is €65 per person, min. 10 people.
