About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Hosted by Reiki Master Teachers Nicholas “Babylove” Sweeney, and Lyndsey Gibbons, this is a beautiful weekend immersed in nature and the light of reiki. Unlike usual reiki I trainings, this retreat is an opportunity to drop in fully to this reiki initiation, without distraction.

Words from your leader, Babylove:

“I am delighted to be teaching "A New Beginning: A Reiki Level I Retrea"t! Get ready for a transformative initiation into the Reiki lineage at Freebird Valley in the beautiful and magnificent Rocky Mountains (near Denver). This retreat will take place during the heart of the Autumn season: in astrological Scorpio season, to be exact. The Fall is about harvest, self-reflection, and preparation for the quiet inward depth of Winter. Scorpio season is a time of introspection and emotional courage to face our shadows so that we can heal and become more conscious, empowered, and fulfilled beings. When we add the reiki initiation to this seasonal mix, we can look forward to a profound experience of awareness and awakening together!

This will be a very special retreat and the foundational piece required for Reiki level II and Master-Teacher trainings that will follow in the series of retreats at Freebird.

Our world as we know it has become increasingly complex, chaotic, disconnected, stressful, and frightening. It seems many of our systems are crumbling as we scramble to create better, more humane structures that help all of us to thrive and experience a high level of human dignity. The Reiki path shines as an easily accessible spiritual path that activates your awareness of the deeper reality of Life-force and subtle energies. It’s hands-on healing aspect gives everyone a simple way to drop-in, experience profound relaxation, and meditation. It is a simple, gentle, and effective path for releasing and managing stress, allowing your body, heart, and mind to heal. The deeper healing lies with the soul and your spiritual awareness, your sense of trust in life, and your celebration of purpose.

Taking a Reiki class is truly an initiation into the deeper and more expansive truth of your spiritual being-ness.
