Details of this retreat
Gather with Cranaleith’s own Chef Nate Baylettes for an afternoon Greek feast that brings together rich flavors, deep symbolism, and the joyful spirit of Theophany—one of the great feasts of the Christian East. As we remember Christ’s revelation at the River Jordan and the Blessing of the Waters, we also embrace the invitation this new year offers: a fresh beginning. Just as in our own Baptisms, we are cleansed of what has been and given the grace to walk a renewed and righteous path.
Enjoy a beautifully prepared meal featuring Spanakopita, Lamb Pastitsada, Dolmades, and more—dishes that echo themes of renewal, illumination, and divine presence.
The afternoon will include:
A festive Greek feast inspired by Theophany traditions
A brief reflection on the feast’s meaning and its connection to light, water, and new beginnings
Time for community, conversation, and celebration
Come savor an afternoon of fellowship, food, and blessing as together we welcome the light that renews and restores all things.
