About this Retreat
Details of this retreat
This program is for those who want to get the most out of their ayahuasca ceremonies- whether that means preparing to arrive to your retreat in the best way possible or having a soft landing to integrate afterwards before returning home.
Embrace simplicity and discover an ideal space for deep rest, relaxation, and nature connection- while also staying at a retreat center where amazonian medicine grows on the land and where your stay supports rainforest conservation and watershed protection.
Included in your stay are river-front accommodations, all meals, herbal tea from the land served throughout the day, guided waterfall treks through our private rainforest reserve, and daily contemplative practice classes in yoga, meditation, and breathwork.
Additional offerings include: bodywork, counseling sessions, beach trips, guided local tours, rafting excursions, and horseback riding through the rainforest.

Getting Here
Directions
You can get to Posada Natura by ground or by air.
We include a complimentary group shuttle from SJO to Posada Natura for all of our retreat participants. The shuttle will depart SJO at 12 noon on the first day of the retreat. If this does not work for you, below is a list of additional ways to get to Posada Natura.
Taxi: A taxi will cost $150. You can take any orange/red taxi outside of the airport, these are official taxis and are safe. Or we can arrange for one of our local taxi drivers to pick you up. The drive will take anywhere from 2.5-4 hours depending on traffic.
Rental Car: If you choose to rent a car, we recommend that you do it online ahead of time. Also it’s a good idea to call your credit card company and have them send you a copy of the Damage & Collision waiver. This will wave the extra insurance fee that car rental companies charge in Costa Rica. Making your reservation online in advance will also save you a large expense. There is plenty of space for you to park on our property.
Travel by Air: From San Jose International Airport you can fly to Quepos on Sansa Airlines. These flights usually cost $90-$120. You will need to coordinate your main international flight separately from the Sansa flight through their website. Sansa only flies a few times per day so make sure to coordinate your international and local flight accordingly to ensure that they will work together. Posada Natura is located just 15 minutes from the Quepos airport and we will arrange a taxi to pick you up.
