Directions

We pick up guests at the harbor of Puerto Jiménez on the first day of the workshop, typically at 10.30 a.m.

* You can reach Puerto Jiménez one of three ways:

1) Fly via Sansa Airlines (~1 hour). Most guests will be flying from San Jose International Airport (SJO). The airport is Puerto Jiménez Airport (PJM).

2) Drive a rental car (~6 hours). Alamo is the main operator for the area. At the time of writing, the Puerto Jiménez office offers free transportation to the harbor from their offices.

3) Take a bus with Grupo Blanco (~8 hours). This is the least expensive and most adventurous option. Some guests have recommended getting a taxi to the bus terminal, as it can be challenging for some to find.

* To reach the harbor once you are in Puerto Jiménez:

The harbor is walking distance from just about everywhere in Puerto Jiménez. We recommend downloading Google Maps offline in advance and walking to the harbor.

For those with heavy luggage, please inform us in advance and we can send up-to-date information for acquiring a taxi.

**Please note**

Most if not all guests will need to travel to Puerto Jiménez the day before the workshop starts. For those requiring accommodations in Puerto Jiménez, we encourage you to contact Jim or Annie at Cabinas Jiménez.

For guests requiring accommodation in San Jose, we recommend Esfera Espacio Holístico. You may contact them via WhatsApp at +506 6352 2239.

Accommodation

We offer both "glamping" (fully enclosed platforms featuring comfortable bamboo beds) and various shared and private rooms to fit a variety of preferences and budgets.

Accommodation
Our "glamping" structures (single-occupancy only) are for those who wish to immerse themselves in the magic of Pandorita's nature (while still being protected from rain and mosquitoes, of course). Fall asleep listening to the jungle's song in your comfortable bamboo bed, and wake up to a dreamy ocean view. The glamping rooms are closest to the maloca (ceremony house).
Accommodation
The Bungalow is a single-occupancy casita located next to a fresh-water stream, protected by jungle shade and surrounded by beautiful flowers, including hibiscus, ornamental Hawaiian ginger, and heliconia.
Accommodation
The name says it all. Located at the top of a hearty set of stairs, the Tree House offers a breathtaking view from its private balcony. Enjoy the glorious seclusion and views of the beach, trees, and wildlife - just don't be surprised if a curious monkey comes to see you, their new tree-dwelling neighbor! For single- or double occupancy.
Accommodation
The Guacamayo Room offers a comfortable king-size bed, a private bathroom, and a breathtaking garden view, all just a few steps from the beach. It’s the perfect retreat for solo travelers or couples seeking both comfort and natural beauty. The shower is shared with the neighboring Colibrí Room, making it a great option for friends or guests traveling together. Please note: as the Guacamayo sits directly above the restaurant, you may occasionally hear the gentle hum of activity below. Many guests enjoy the lively atmosphere and convenience, while others may prefer a quieter setting elsewhere on the property. We’re happy to help you choose the space that best suits your preferences.
Accommodation
The Colibrí Room is the largest and most comfortable room on Pandorita. It features two queen-size beds, a sofa, and a table ideal for working or journaling. Guests in the Colibrí Room share a shower with the Guacamayo Room, while enjoying ample space and natural light. Please note: as the Colibri is located directly above the restaurant, there may be some lively sounds from below. If you're especially sensitive to noise, you may prefer one of our quieter accommodations. Some guests love the vibrant atmosphere and convenience, while others enjoy a more tranquil setting—it's all about your personal preference.
Accommodation
The Mariposa: This cute, well integrated nest is close to the rainforest. Hearing the birds and the forest sing...Ideal for single or couples. One of the guest favourite location.

Pandorita is a metaphor
After the third ceremony at Pandorita, I made a profound realization. I had been projecting my own inner resistance outward onto the world around me. Initially, I couldn’t fully see or feel the beauty and magic of this place. It wasn’t until I purged myself of my constant judgments that I truly began to experience it.

As I let go of my preconceived notions and surrendered to the process, a profound shift occurred within me. Suddenly, the lush jungle surroundings seemed more vibrant, the songs of the birds more melodious, and the energy of the ceremonies more potent.

It was a moment of clarity and release, a shedding of old patterns and a welcoming of the present moment. From that point on, I approached each ceremony and each experience with newfound openness and appreciation.

Pandorita became not just a physical location, but a metaphor for my own inner journey of self-discovery and growth. And for that realization, I am eternally grateful.

A transformative journey awaits at Pandorita, where I experienced profound healing of my inner child.

The sacred ceremonies guided by experienced shamans provided a safe space for deep introspection and emotional release. Through this powerful medicine, I was able to confront and heal past wounds, nurturing and embracing my inner child with compassion and love.

The supportive environment, coupled with the wisdom of the facilitators, fostered a profound sense of healing and renewal.

My experience at Pandorita was nothing short of transformative, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to embark on this inner journey of healing and growth.

I would love to be back
The Pandorita Retreat takes place in a very loving family environment.

From the cooks to the gardener and the support team to the mastero, everyone is very concerned about the well-being of the guests.

The support team was available to us as a 24/7 contact person

The resort is surrounded by nature. The grounds are very well maintained and border directly on the jungle. Dolphins occasionally swim in front of the sea wall and you may encounter many native animals on the resort grounds.

Because of the ayahuasca ceremonies, the food is strictly regulated according to a certain diet in order to enhance the effects of the medicine.

The ceremonies are led by indigenous masteros from Peru. For me, the work and experience of the masteros was a very beautiful and exciting experience.

They were tireless in their love and care for the participants.

I had read a lot about the work of the shamans. During the ceremonies, all my expectations were far exceeded.

The ceremonies focus on physical, spiritual and ancestral healing.

During the ceremonies, the two supervisors and helpers of the Mastero were always present and constantly concerned about the well-being of the participants.

I always felt well looked after and cared for. Everyone was noticed and professionally guided through the experience with the medicine by the helpers of the Masteros.

In my opinion, the retreat was worth every penny and I would love to travel to Pandorita again straight away to deepen my experience.

I would like to thank the team and the Masteros for everything!

I miss you very much and wish you much strength and joy in your work.

With love Tom

Pandorita is next Level
Pandorita was a very profound, healing experience for me, it touched me deeply – and I am still in inner contact with this special energy from this special, wonderful place. The place is located directly on the Pacific Ocean within a peninsula, the sea is very calm and peaceful, just like the whole place.

I felt wonderfully looked after, the treatments and activities were great, the food was just right, naturally fresh, made with love and with the consistency needed for a respectful implementation of such a power workshop.

Our group was the focus, it was all about us and our process. I particularly noticed how everyone stepped back to give us the best possible experience and healing. I already had experiences, but they are not comparable to my experiences here on Pandorita. A lot of healing happened to me here that I could not have imagined.

One of the best and most important times in my life so far. Thank you all 🙂
