Details of this retreat

At the Fall Equinox, we feel palpably the return of the Great Cycle, as we transition from the “light” to “dark” season. At the juncture of this great transition, is a significant energetic portal, one in which we honor the path behind, and make important choices for the direction ahead. In this ceremony we will honor the energy of conscious transition and stepping through the “portal of authenticity”. Participants are invited to bring in their hearts something in their life that requires a significant choice or transition, which we will energetically work with during the ceremony.

Encouraged to arrive by 4:00pm to have time to park and land before the ceremony begins.  Space will be limited to ensure the gathering is right sized, please RSVP and join the waitlist if space is full.
More About The Stone Circle:
For many thousands of years, humans from land-honoring spiritual traditions have aligned their sacred ceremonies with the natural seasons and cycles of the Earth, the “Wheel of the Year” according to modern Pagan traditions. The Stone Circle at Rootstock honors the deep history of many of these traditions in which sacred sites of standing stones mark spiritually significant locations. The potent Earth energies therein hold space for sacred ceremonial work. In 2024, we launched our first Wheel of the Year offerings at Rootstock and celebrated the passage of the seasons in community, honoring the Earth and ourselves in the process, deepening our relationship with the seasons, and building a deeper connection with the land through ceremony.

In this second series of offerings, in partnership with the Rootstock community, Eyal invites you to join the community of a living spiritual “Stone Circle”, which we will build and hold through our ceremonial gatherings during the important seasonal transitions of the Wheel during 2025. This year, our ceremonies will be guided by the theme “tending to our inner wildness” through 8 seasonal rituals. Participants are invited to bring curiosity, a reverence for the natural world, and an open heart to our gatherings. Designed to be family friendly and inclusive for people from all backgrounds and beliefs. Inspired by the spiritual practices and teachings of the modern Druid tradition, we will come together in ceremony across the seasons, to honor and celebrate the natural rhythms of the Earth. Inviting the ebbs and flows of the natural world to speak to our Spirit, and guide and hold us in our own inward growth and evolution.

Come celebrate the turning of the wheel…

Robin’s Nest
Staying at Rootstock was such a gift. The Robin’s Nest smells like wonderful pine trees and feels fresh and light, but also safe and anchored. It has nice decorations and is very very cozy. There are windows and good light and it has everything you need for some minimalist time on a beautiful hill in Vermont. Walking around the retreat center and seeing the gardens is also a wonderful part of staying there. Beana & staff are so warm and accommodating. You will LOVE your time there. And more importantly: will have magical, informative sweet dreams in the mystical attic atop the Robin’s Nest Tiny house: HIGHLY recommend~

A beautiful and magical land of sacred and community
I attended day 2 of the 2023 4 day transformation fire, and it was a beautiful day of community, sacred ritual, sharing of food, conversation, and retreat and medicine. Beana did such an incredible job of leading a gratitude fire ceremony and holding space for the community of people who attended. She brought our attention to honoring the sacred through sharing her own thoughts, feelings, and experience with gratitude for the land, people, medicine, and resources that allow for Rootstock Retreat to exist, and then she went on to open up space for the community to share their own sacred experiences of gratitude from their lives. She brings this same energy to the whole space, land, and community that is Rootstock Retreat and for that reason it is such a special place to come to be in community and healing with others.

Fire ceremony with Nana
It was very simple and grounding. I love the simplicity of the nature of the practice. The guidance she had for us felt true and true. It was beautiful to experience this wonder of Mother Earth and the inquiry: what do we do for her continues to lead me. I’m grateful 🥹

A Special Place
Rootstock Retreat is an incredibly special place for those who wish to submerse themselves in the natural world as well as the heart world. The grounds are simple yet beautiful and you will have all that you need without all the "extras" that some places try to cram in. Just go, you won't be sorry!

Weekend away to explore Rootstock
I’m trying to be more self compassionate so I can be my best self for others, having this weekend helped me to do whatever I wanted which is a big deal when you have family commitments. My weekend at Rootstock along with the community event “All hands on deck” offered me an opportunity and a purpose to help this community that helps so many others. I look forward to doing another retreat here.
