About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

The Nixpu Pima is the most sacred initiation of the Huni Kuin people of the Brazilian Amazon. Traditionally reserved for their own community, this ceremony is rarely offered to foreigners. To be invited into this sacred rite is a profound honor — one that is extended only to those ready to walk with respect, humility, and an open heart.

This ancient initiation is not a retreat or a performance. It is a baptism of the spirit, a powerful passage guided by the wisdom of the elders, the love of the community, and a deep reverence for nature.

The Nixpu Pima has the power to heal the heart at its deepest level, to cleanse the spirit, and to realign you with your true essence. It is a moment of rebirth — a chance to leave behind what no longer serves and to step into a new chapter of life with clarity, strength, and purpose.

What Makes Nixpu Pima Unique
The Most Sacred Ceremony of the Huni Kuin — a central rite of transformation, rarely shared with the outside world.

Profound Healing & Renewal — deep purification rituals, herbal baths, body painting, and sacred songs that cleanse and strengthen body, mind, and spirit.

Sacred Songs & Dances — traditional huni meka chants and ceremonial dances call in the ancestral spirits, weaving you back into harmony with the forest.

Guided by Elders & Leaders — shamans, chiefs, and song keepers will hold and guide you throughout the process with integrity and ancestral authority.

Connection to Nature — visits to the samaúma (the most powerful tree of the forest), traditional herbal medicine baths, and full immersion in the rhythms of indigenous village life.

This Is Not a Luxury Retreat
You will live simply, as part of the community, in the middle of the rainforest.
Expect basic conditions: shared facilities, limited electricity, and internet.

Food is traditional, natural, and nourishing.

Days are filled with ceremonies, village life, and immersion in the forest.

What you receive here is far greater than luxury: authenticity, transformation, and connection with a wisdom that has been carried for generations.
