About this Retreat
Filmmaker • Anthropologist • Meditation & Self-Development Guide
Australian–Sardinian filmmaker, anthropologist, and storyteller, Lisa Camillo brings a rare depth of cultural knowledge and human empathy to every retreat she leads. Drawing on years of work with Aboriginal communities in Australia, ancestral Sardinian traditions, and teachings from the Amazon, Lisa guides guests on journeys that blend ancient wisdom with modern self-discovery.
As a yoga and meditation facilitator, she creates gentle, inclusive spaces where guests can slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with their true selves. Her workshops often weave journaling, creative reflection, and soulful conversation — helping each participant explore where they are, where they wish to go, and what may be holding them back.
A lifelong traveller, author and award-winning documentary filmmaker, Lisa’s gift lies in storytelling: not just the stories she tells on screen, but the stories she helps others see and rewrite within themselves. Guided by deep empathy and respect for different cultures, she believes real transformation happens quietly — in moments of honesty, shared laughter, and stillness.
At Sacro Cactus Villa, Lisa invites guests to pause, reflect, and rediscover what truly matters, supported by nature, community, and the timeless rhythms of Sardinia.
Chiropractor / Applied Kinesiologist • Plant Medicine-Assisted Therapist • Slow Living Guide
Born in France and shaped by years living in South America, Mathieu is a healer who brings together science, ancient plant knowledge, and a grounded, deeply human warmth.
A certified chiropractor, kinesiologist, and plant medicine–assisted therapist, Mathieu’s work bridges modern bodywork with ancestral wisdom. Under the guidance of a Shiripuno shaman in the Amazon, he studied the sacred use of local healing plants, and now gently integrates that knowledge into his retreats — always rooted in respect, safety, and authenticity.
Mathieu helps guests reconnect with their bodies, unlock tension, and cultivate inner calm. In the kitchen, his love of slow living shines through seasonal, wholesome dishes inspired by Sardinia’s blue zone secrets and French cuisine— made to nourish, delight, and heal, but incredibly tasty.
What truly sets Mathieu apart is his presence: calm, steady, and deeply empathetic. Guests often say they feel immediately at ease, seen without judgment, and gently supported to reconnect — not just with their bodies, but with their own natural rhythm and vitality.
At Sacro Cactus Villa, Mathieu welcomes each guest as part of the family, offering a space where ancient knowledge, mindful movement, and heartfelt connection come together to restore body and spirit.
Nina Deiana, founder of Vagavoice, is a Sardinian-born voice artist, actress, songwriter, and certified sound healer with over 20 years of experience exploring the liberating and transformative power of sound and voice.
Through intimate voice circles, vocal liberation workshops, and immersive sound journeys, Nina guides participants to tap into their most authentic voice, a pure sound rooted in presence, truth, and embodied essence. Her approach combines toning, intuitive vocal release, ancient mantras, light language and the vibrational resonance of quartz crystal singing bowls, creating powerful spaces for release, realignment, and deep healing.
Inspired by the sacred feminine lineage and ancestral sound wisdom of her native Sardinia, a land shaped by matriarchal traditions and rich in sacred sonic heritage, Nina honours the voice as a sacred, identifying force. In her work, the voice becomes a gateway to soul language: a living vibration that opens pathways to intuition, presence, and personal transformation.
Through sound and silence, resonance and release, Nina invites you to reconnect with the power of your female ancestry and to liberate the unique, original frequency of your own pure voice, that raw ancestral vibration that lives within us and carries the memory of who we are.
Anna Feilchenfeldt was born and raised in Switzerland and has dedicated over a decade to exploring the deep connection between movement, stillness, and energy. After her first Yin Yoga teacher training in 2013 with Anat Geiger in Amsterdam, Anna continued to study with renowned teachers including Marcel van de Vis-Heil, Paul and Suzee Grilley in California and Mexico.
Her passion for Yin Yoga naturally led her to Qi Gong — an ancient practice of cultivating and harmonizing life force energy (Qi). Anna believes Qi Gong beautifully complements the stillness of Yin Yoga, offering gentle movement that awakens, balances, and sustains the body’s energy.
With a calm, intuitive teaching style, Anna invites guests to explore not just the postures, but the deeper journey of self-awareness, balance, and vitality — honouring the idea that transformation lies more in the path itself than the destination.
Details of this retreat
Escape the rush of daily life and step into an intimate Sardinian hideaway where ancient rituals meet modern slow living.
This is more than just rest — it’s a curated pause to recharge your body, open your heart, and reimagine what comes next.
Mornings begin with gentle yoga and Qi Gong among wild junipers and sea breeze; afternoons invite you to sink into the pool, nap in the shade, or explore creative workshops crafted to help you reflect and reset your vision.

Lisa & Mathieu
At the heart of Sacro Cactus Villa are Lisa and Mathieu — partners in life and in vision, who turned an ancient Sardinian hillside into a living sanctuary of slow living, creativity, and connection.
Lisa is an award-winning filmmaker, anthropologist and writer whose work explores the deep stories that bind people, nature and culture. With a warm, grounded presence, she guides guests to reflect, journal, and gently rediscover their own voice — drawing on years of storytelling and her passion for ancestral wisdom.
Mathieu, a talented chiropractor with a love for movement and natural healing, brings balance back to the body through chiropractic and kinesiology treatments. In the kitchen, he channels the same care into nourishing dishes inspired by Sardinia’s longevity secrets and fresh local produce.
Together, Lisa and Mathieu don’t just host; they live what they share: slowing down, honouring the earth, cooking with love, and welcoming guests as part of an extended family. Their retreats weave simplicity and soul, encouraging each guest to rest, reflect, and reconnect — both within and with the beauty of the natural world.
At Sacro Cactus, you’re invited not as a tourist, but as part of a small circle, held with kindness, creativity, and true Sardinian hospitality.
