About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

We’re very pleased to share that Volume 2 of Walking the Forest Path is now available for pre-sale.
For those who loved Volume 1, this second volume moves even more deeply into the wisdom of the Forest Path. The book is organised around a series of themes that arose organically from Jaya’s ceremonial transmissions, touching directly on questions many of us carry on the spiritual path:

How do we find and remain in the light when we encounter darkness in ourselves and in the world at large?

How do we cultivate our love and compassion in order to uplift ourselves and others?

How can we make ourselves an open channel, where the boundary between inner and outer dissolves?

How do we free ourselves from illusion?

How can we experience the eternal qualities of silence, spaciousness, and stillness?

What is the true nature of the mind?

How can we contemplate infinity?

These writings are born of profound presence when Jaya is in a room full of people, the words themselves arriving spontaneously when moved. As a reader rather than a listener, you are invited to attune not only to the words themselves, but to the presence behind them, and to discover that same place of presence within yourself.

Here is a small taste of what you'll find in Walking the Forest Path Volume 2:

We all found ourselves here. I hope that's a good thing. I trust that it's good for you. That it lifts you up to continue finding that place inside of yourself, even despite the difficulties. Finding the good direction to go in means that no matter how many times you spin around, no matter how many times you fall down, you remember so clearly—more clearly than anything inside of yourself—which way is the right way.

And sometimes you get confused. Sometimes you doubt. If you come back to that place, if you come from that place, in that place, and go towards that place, there is no doubt, because in this world it is easy to get sidetracked. There are many, many paths, but the only path, the real path, the spiritual path, is the one in which you turn inwards and find your source. That's it.

A beautiful experience in every way
Finding my way to Casa Floresta and this Voice Medicine Retreat was truly divinely guided. I have been on my path of deep healing and reached the layer of my voice; its blocks, fears and deep desire to be heard and expressed. I was waiting for the most beautiful and supportive next step for me to explore this part of myself and this was it. The lake took me in with open arms and Casa Floresta is a dream. It is so gorgeous here and I felt taken care of in every way by our beautiful facilitators Hayley, Leti and Shahaf. They are each so special, unique and brought their own light & power ~ and together the three of them created a seamless flow facilitating with such grace and mastery. I loved the healthy, fresh food they fed us with each day, the incredible environment (so clean and comfortable, the views are spectacular, the location is gorgeous), the inspiring teachings, learning so much as we practiced harmonizing, being introduced to so many techniques and music, singing songs, and connecting with the wonderful people that came to also explore their voices. This time helped me to touch the most tender parts of myself. Weeks later that experience continues to bloom in me and my life. Unforgettable experience and I would come again and again.
Thank you so much Hayley, Leti, Shahaf and the entire staff at Casa Floresta.

Transformative Voice Medicine Retreat
This Voice Medicine Retreat was incredible! The accommodation was fabulous! I had a stunning view of San Pedro volcano. The food was delicious! I am beyond grateful for these beautiful woman – Hayley, Leticia & Shahaf. They all led this retreat with incredible knowledge of music, instruments, songs & voice. You could feel their passion for their work and their devotion in supporting women to explore & discover their own voice. This retreat helped me push my edges on so many levels regarding my voice, my own blocks and challenges and realized that when you truly let all those go – you can find that inner nudge, inner voice, calmness, creativity and confidence to sing, write and create. The activities and exercises of tuning, toning, chanting, and deep listening were extremely helpful, although at times challenging, you came out on the other side with such love, happiness & celebration. If you are looking to gift yourself this medicine (your own voice) – I highly recommend it. It transformed my view on how I look at my own voice, myself and the potential that is awaiting me on my journey. Thank you everyone who made this happen!

Medicine in Every Moment
During my time in Guatemala, I was welcomed into the home of the shaman and his wife. From very first day, I felt the balance created by their partnership. Together, they held the space with a combination of strength and warmth that seemed to flow naturally between them. It felt like an expression of the divine feminine and divine masculine in harmony, which set the tone for the entire retreat.

The shaman carried a deep well of wisdom and presence. He responded to questions with patience and clarity, offering guidance that felt both gentle and precise. There were times when just a few words from him brought a sense of calm or understanding that stayed with me long after.

His wife contributed an equally powerful energy; quiet, grounding, and compassionate. The way they moved around each other and the group created an atmosphere that felt deeply respectful and held. I often noticed how attuned they were to what was happening in the space and in each person.

The ceremonies were held in the temple, surrounded by volcanic mountains and waters that seemed alive in their own way. The energy of the land itself felt like an essential part of the medicine, something that reached into every aspect of the experience. There were moments I could feel the volcanic earth under my feet and a sense that the place itself was working with us.

Each detail... the songs of the musicians, the attentiveness of the facilitators, the meals prepared and shared together, felt connected to this same living field. For me, the medicine was not only in the ceremony but in every interaction, every quiet moment, every step taken on the land.

Throughout the retreat, everything felt integrated as one whole experience. Nothing stood apart or felt separate. I left with a sense of having been welcomed into something complete, alive, and profoundly healing. By the end, I felt almost as if all the participants were good friends. There was a natural closeness and trust between us that arose from sharing an experience shaped with so much wisdom and care.
