Details of this retreat

The lojong slogans are a powerful Buddhist practice for transforming self-absorption and challenging emotions into compassion and openness. The slogans are pithy & easy to remember; some examples are “Be grateful to everyone” or “Rest in the natural state.” Although short, they contain a depth of wisdom that gradually penetrates and opens our mindstream. We will focus on a different group of slogans each week, contemplating and journaling about them, and enriching our understanding with readings from Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and other great teachers. Participants should acquire one of the following texts: Training the Mind & Cultivating Loving-Kindness by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche; or The Intelligent Heart by Dzigar Kongtrol Rinpoche

Dana Fulmer is a longtime practitioner who was fortunate enough to receive direct instruction from Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche. She is a student of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, and has taught within their traditions for over 30 years. She lives in Accord, NY.

There is flexible pricing based on circumstances. Please email danafulmer1@gmail.com for more information.
