About this Retreat
Asdrubal’s journey is deeply rooted in a profound connection with master plants and traditional wisdom. Over the years, he has immersed himself in various ancestral practices, cultivating a deep understanding of healing through nature. As a dedicated bodyworker specializing in myofascial deep tissue therapy, permaculture, and plant medicine, Asdrubal’s mission is to inspire and empower individuals toward a more sustainable and balanced way of living.
His approach integrates a diverse array of tools, drawing from the symbiotic relationships between humans, nature, and the elements. By fostering a reconnection of body, mind, and spirit, Asdrubal invites others to explore the healing potential that exists within themselves and their natural surroundings.
Through years of observation, study, and practical experience, Asdrubal has developed sustainable systems that are the foundation of Casa Arkaana’s vision. His life's work is to create and maintain a healing sanctuary that exists in harmony with nature, offering a space for deep transformation and growth.
Harley’s journey has led her through psychological study, years practicing and teaching Yoga, meditation and energetic healing, to Kundalini bodywork, somatic trauma release therapies, Mediumship through the Akashic Records and deep into Shamanic practice.
As a therapist, her primary focus points are spiritual council and development, somatic regulation and embodiment and working with clients to prepare for and integrate peak experiences, such as through working with plant medicines.
As a Shamanic practitioner, Harley has recently begun sharing the heart-healing medicine of the Rose, which she loves weaving into her work as a workshop and retreat facilitator, creating spaces primarily for women, to elevate and develop through the lens of the Divine feminine.
Through this work it is her greatest honour to be of service and to hold a nurturing and compassionate space for healing.
Juan Carlos is a devoted practitioner of medicine and plant spirit channeling, uniquely blending the wisdom of his Amazonian heritage from his father's side with his maternal Andean (Incan) lineage. As an Ayahuascero, Tabaquero, visionary artist, and musician, he weaves together these rich cultural traditions in his work and service.
For the past 20 years, Juan Carlos has shared his transformative work across the globe, gaining recognition for his powerful ikaro songs and the exceptional quality of the medicine he prepares. He regularly returns to his sacred land, Inti Yacu, a 37-hectare sanctuary dedicated to the reintroduction of healing plant species.
The Taminchi family is committed to nurturing these sacred plants, protecting their natural habitats, and reforesting the area to ensure that they continue to heal and inspire generations to come. Through his work, Juan Carlos embodies the profound connection between nature and spirit, fostering healing and empowerment for all who cross his path.
Maja is a cultivator of integral well-being and guardian of Casa Arkaana (Sustainable Wellness Sanctuary). Her path, rooted in anthropology and the humanities, spans two decades of study and practice dedicated to exploring consciousness, the yogic path, and self inquiry. Her specialisation within the yogic traditions gravitates towards Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, prenatal, and trauma-informed yoga. Additionally, Maja is trained as a doula, in ethnobotany, and somatic healing.
She is deeply immersed in Earth-based traditions and Ancestral Wisdom, learning from the plants and elders through ancient cosmovisions and healing arts. Motherhood is her greatest source of learning, inspiration, and growth. Through her service, Maja sows seeds of consciousness expansion, supporting others in reconnecting with their purpose and the art of living; thus contributing to a more harmonious and sustainable world.
