About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Roots of Devotion is a seven-day, six-night immersion in music, ritual, and soulful connection set in the lush jungles of Ojochal, Costa Rica. Guided by experienced facilitators, we gather to awaken our voices, open our hearts, and remember the ancient power of song as prayer and community.

Each day we move through voice-opening practices, rhythm exploration, and sacred music workshops that honor the earth and the roots of devotion. Evenings invite us into firelit song circles and heartfelt ceremonies beneath the stars. There is spacious time to rest, swim in jungle rivers, walk among the trees, and integrate what unfolds.

This retreat is for anyone longing to reconnect with their authentic voice, explore music as a spiritual path, and be held in a safe, loving container. No prior singing or musical experience is required — only a desire to express, listen, and receive.

Set within Yacumama’s vibrant landscape of waterfalls, forest, and ocean vistas, Roots of Devotion offers both deep inner work and a joyful celebration of life, community, and the sacred sound that lives in us all.

Those who sign up before November 15th will receive an exclusive $500 discount toward our upcoming Roots of Devotion Retreat, February 4 –10, 2026.
