Details of this retreat

This 7-day retreat combines the profound healing of Ayahuasca with the magic of Machu Picchu. Designed for deep spiritual work, emotional release, and personal transformation, it offers a balance of ceremony, culture, and sacred exploration.
You will take part in 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies guided by Shipibo shamans, supported by an experienced psychotherapist and Ayahuasca integrator in a safe, intimate setting. Alongside the ceremonies, the program includes meditation, integration circles, nature immersions, and healing rituals, complemented by a guided visit to Machu Picchu, one of the most revered sacred sites in the world.
Every detail, from organic dieta-based meals to cultural exchanges with local families—is carefully designed to nurture and support your process.
✨ Please note: Retreats run from March 15th to November 15th. Reservations must be made at least one month in advance to allow proper preparation and to ensure each guest is fully suitable. Groups are limited to a maximum of 7 participants, offering a safe and personalized experience. Preparation and integration are guided by our psychotherapist and Ayahuasca integrator, with medical support available when needed. This guidance extends before, during, and after the retreat, on both physical and emotional levels, providing deep, continuous care.

Schedule

Onaya has a flexible schedule for all retreats. We don’t follow a tight itinerary because this is a space to slow down, not to rush. Each day, guests are informed of the planned activities, so there’s no need to worry about what’s coming next.

A typical day might include:

Gentle wake-up with tea or fruit and quiet time in the gardens

Nourishing breakfast with organic, dieta-friendly foods

Sharing circles and integration workshops

Healing activities such as floral baths, consultations with healers or the psychotherapist, or visits to the local community

Excursions and workshops (these vary from day to day)

Ayahuasca ceremonies on designated nights or evening gatherings for rest, music, and connection.

Our retreat center is located in the Cusco rainforest, in the town of Playa Sahuayaco — a well-known stop along the Salkantay trek and gateway to the Amazon, just a short distance from Machu Picchu. Surrounded by mountains, fruit gardens, and the river’s song, it is a sanctuary where nature’s peace guides the journey inward toward balance and renewal.
