Astrology and Tarot: : Tools for Transformative Times
This program has 2 tracks, an Astrology Track with Stephanie Austin and a Tarot Track with Callie French. Participants choose one track (and indicate which track on the registration form). All will have an opportunity to experience aspects of both tracks during the evening programs.
On Friday evening, former camp manager Minor Lile will share his thoughts on the relationship between divination and synchronicity.

Track 1: Divine Timing: Exploring Astrological Transits with Stephanie Austin
Life does not get better by chance; it gets better by change. — Jim Rohn
In every ending there is a new beginning. ― Deborah Harkness
You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. — A.A. Milne
Astrology provides us with a spiritual roadmap, helping us remember who we really are and what we came to do at this critical time on Earth. Its language of cycles and symbols, archetypes, and sacred geometry, speaks to our soul, validating what we know in our heart and helping us trust our inner guidance.

In 2026, four of the five outer planets move fully into new signs, signaling a period of major endings and beginnings for every one of us, and for the world. In our time together we will delve into what those shifts mean and how to make the most of their opportunities. We'll discover where we are realizing new truths (Jupiter), becoming our own authority (Saturn), healing core issues (Chiron), breaking from tradition (Uranus), opening to metaphysical realities (Neptune), and integrating our shadow (Pluto).

Come explore the transformative power of the planets and signs from an evolutionary point of view, as well as how breath and movement practices, astrodrama and art, tuning forks and flower essences, can facilitate our understanding and growth. In addition to detailed handouts, you’ll receive a personal transit chart, a listing of your current transits, and how to gain empowering insights from both past and future times of change.

Participants should be familiar with the basics of astrology (planets, signs, houses, aspects) or read Steven Forrest’s book The Inner Sky (https://www.forrestastrology.com/products/the-inner-sky) before the workshop.

Please include your birthdate, place, and time when registering.

Track 2: Tarot with Callie French
Explore and experience the elements of Tarot in a unique sensory emersion. Begin by embodying the 22 Major Arcana Archetypes described by Carl Jung, then explore old growth timber (Pentacles), coastline inlets (Cups), meditate on windy cliffs (Swords) and delve into the mysteries of fire (Wands) to experience all elements of the Minor Arcana. In addition, each day will have new ‘spreads’, as flinging cards is an entertaining method to open inner lines of communication, thus moving from questions to answers.
The language of Tarot is expressed through images that span centuries capturing fragments of numerology, astrology, the Kabbalah, Theosophical color theory, Neoplatonism, Christian theology and alchemy. Because there are so many layers within the simple drawings Tarot is extremely variable and elastic, which can give rise to confusion and frustration, but which also gives it a vitality and living quality unmatched by any other means of divination. Instead of a conference hall or a classroom, come delve into Tarot as it expresses itself in an environment suited to the beauty and mysteries of daily life.
No prior experience with Tarot is required for this program; whether you are a novice or a professional reader, prepare to delve into the 78 cards/doorways in a completely different method.
Please bring a standard 78 card Tarot deck such as Rider-Waite-Smith, Thoth or Tarot de Marseille. Oracle, Lenormand and Kipper decks are not suitable for this class. There will be handouts, but a notebook is suggested for your own records.

Wonderful Weather Work Party
Wow, another amazing November work party with seasonally better temperatures and sunny weather. Some of us worked in the garden, on the new bath house, and organizing the tool shed. Can't wait until the next work party.

Magical weekend in community
This place and community is so special to us. This was our second year here for the Harvest Work Party and we are hoping to join for Family Camp soon! Our kids (5 and 7) thrive here- they love being included and they love their relative freedom to roam the meadow and trails! My 7 year old even commented on how he feels like the adults at Indralaya are interested in him in a way most adults aren't. Having access to the beautiful coastline for kayaking and walking the trails is so special. And the food is delicious!!! I never imagined that I wouldn't even miss meat.

Harvest Work Party
A good experience; kudos to the Board members for pulling it off so seamlessly....I would have liked for there to have been a talent show, with all that musical talent around.
