About this Retreat
In 2004, Wolf Kinsmen began practicing meditation, breathwork, and yoga, which led him to guide international teacher trainings and certify 72 teachers. His nomadic lifestyle allowed him to study with masters worldwide.
Trained directly by Wim Hof, Wolf specialized in breathwork and became a certified freediver and flute instructor. He also studied coaching at the Tony Robbins Coaching School.
As a descendant of Ilocano spirit mediums, he explored shamanism with Don Howard among the Shipibo tribe in the Amazon and led ceremonies in Peru. In Nepal, he studied Dzogchen meditation with Sangngak Tenzin Rinpoche at a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. Wolf’s message is to practice until embodiment flows naturally, with no separation between the practitioner and the practice.
Details of this retreat
Join us for a profound journey of self-discovery with the "Flow of Awareness" 50-hour Meditation Teacher Training Certification, offered by Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. Set in the serene environment of Vanvisa at the Falls, Luang Prabang, this training invites you to immerse yourself in meditation that reveals your true essence, dissolving the illusions that veil it.
This is not a retreat for relaxation, but an immersive experience for those committed to deepening their practice and learning how to teach meditation in real life. It’s for those who wish to integrate meditation into their everyday life and teachings.
Vanvisa at the Falls, located beside the world-renowned Kuang Si Waterfalls, offers an environment shared with the local community—children, families, monks, and the natural sounds of life. Meditation here is lived, not isolated. You will learn to stay present and aware amid the distractions of everyday life, using meditation as a tool for growth and transformation, not escape.
The accommodation is simple and comfortable, designed to help you connect with nature. With no Wi-Fi and cold showers, the rustic setting allows you to unplug, focus, and embrace the beauty of simplicity. This is not luxury but an invitation to live fully in the present, grounded in nature’s rhythm.
The training is intimate, with a maximum of 5 students, ensuring you receive personalized attention. Through Awareness Meditation, role-play, and direct guidance, you will awaken your true nature and be prepared to guide others on their path. This is not about perfection, but about discovering your authentic voice as a teacher and sharing meditation with presence.
You will receive a yoga mat as a simple symbol of your commitment to the practice. The goal is to embody meditation fully, living it, and stepping into your role as a teacher of self-inquiry and transformation.
The surrounding waterfalls provide a sacred space for contemplation. The crystal-clear pools, surrounded by lush greenery, invite you to dive in and connect with nature. The sound of water and the vibrant environment will deepen your practice. Additionally, the healing tones of a Native American flute journey will guide you into stillness, elevating your meditation experience.
Whether you are new to meditation or an experienced practitioner, this training will help you embody it as a living practice. You will leave not only as a certified teacher but as someone who has experienced meditation's transformative power and is ready to guide others.
This intimate 50-hour training will serve as the foundation of your journey as a meditation teacher, rooted in authenticity, awareness, and presence.
