About this Retreat
Sanango is a Peruvian healer and spiritual master whose learning is based on Amazonian shamanism and Vedic philosophy. His life and work has allowed him to travel in various states of the soul, from disconnection to the experience of divinity and peace in states of compassion. Over the past 20 years he has conducted thousands of Ayahuasca ceremonies and many in depth processes, specializing in the awakening of consciousness and in healing states of depression, anxiety and addiction.
He has lectured and conducted seminars about shamanism, master plants and entheogens at various universities and other places internationally. He writes a blog at Sinchi Runa’s website.
Sanango conducts spiritual diets and other forms of spiritual healing. He works with entheogens, master plants and eastern consciousness techniques aiming to bring the individual to a direct encounter with her inner universe, the love of God and the reconnection with earth.
Ananda helps to facilitate retreats at Sinchi Runa, and is on a path of learning with Maestro Sanango and the Master Plants. He has spent many months in silence and solitude, dieting a variety of master plants and communing with Ayahuasca and the plant world, before beginning to assist on retreats at Sinchi Runa. With a caring and calm presence, Ananda helps to hold space for the process of all who come for healing, and assists Maestro Sanango in retreats.
Prior to Sinchi Runa, Ananda spent many years practicing meditation, attending and serving on silent retreats, and eventually maturing his practice to begin sharing what he had learned on his journey. He continues to make use of this to help guide participants in their processes and encounters with the Master Plants.

Mikaela is a Kambo Therapist, Ayahuasca Facilitator and Hridaya Yoga- and Meditation Teacher. For the past eight years she has been living in the Guatemalan and Peruvian Rainforest, where she has been assisting and developing Sinchi Runa together with Maestro Sanango. Her presence is safe, loving and compassionate and she serves Ayahuasca with deep integrity and wisdom. The devotion and love of her work embraces each human being, plant and animal on this Earth. When experiencing the medicine for the first time her thoughts were “If all people would drink Ayahuasca, all the problems of the world would be solved”.
In this spirit, she dedicates herself to creating a space in which Ayahuasca can be safely experienced in its full potential. During the past eight years she has dieted with a variety of shamanic master plants and gone through hundreds of Ayahuasca Ceremonies, Purges and Shamanic Processes. She spent most of the time during the first three years of her learning alone in the jungle without communication with the “outer world”. During this time she went through many shamanic diets, communicating with Ayahuasca, the plant spirits, the natural world and the Cosmos. A process that proved invaluable to her understanding of the medicine and allowing her to serve others in similar processes. Moreover, she is studying academic psychology as well as alternative therapies, seeking to implement a deep therapeutic safety and care, bridging profound shamanic insight and healing with a safe therapeutic framework and yogic practices. She is also a mother and spends most of her time rediscovering the world with her two-year old son Maitreya.

Kameron has been learning from Maestro Sanango and facilitating retreats at Sinchi Runa Ayahuasca Healing Center for the last three years. He has gone through various shamanic diets and spent much time in solitude and communion with Ayahuasca and other master plants in the Peruvian Rainforest. Before this he practiced meditation and self-enquiry for many years, while he explored ways to awaken creativity and live in harmony with the ever-changing nature of life.

Our Personal Treatments with Master Plants seek to address and heal afflictions such as deep states of Depression, Trauma, Compulsion & Pain.
These are longer processes of typically lasting 1-3 months (or more), that aim to create a permanent and lasting change through directly addressing and releasing the root causes of afflictions and suffering.
The aim is a total reinvention of yourself - a rebirth into a new life beyond the pain.
We are an intimate master plant healing center that has been operating for 14 years, providing a highly individualised level of care and guidance in your process, with a high level of expertise in our work. Maestro Sanango, who personally oversees and guides all treatments, has 30 years of experience in healing with Master Plants.

✨ SANANGO - PERUVIAN MAESTRO CURANDERO ✨
The Personal Treatment is led by Maestro Sanango, a Peruvian spiritual master and “vegetalista” with over thirty years of experience in the Amazonian shamanic tradition. Through thousands of ceremonies and many years of seclusion in the Amazon jungle, he has formed a deep relationship with the spirit of Mother Ayahuasca and a variety of Plant Teachers or “Plantas Maestras”.
Sanango has many success stories of helping individuals who struggled with difficult states of addiction, depression, trauma, and chronic pains to turn their lives around and discover joy and purpose beyond the pain.
Through his work with the plants, he seeks to serve those who come to him to heal from their afflictions, to find joy and purpose in an understanding of their true selves and the unconditional love of the divine.
✨ THE TRADITIONAL AMAZONIAN HEALING PROCESS ✨
The content, length and format of a Personal Treatment is always completely tailored to each individual – no two cases are the same. This process recovers the traditional work of the Amazonian doctor (curandero), in the 1:1 accompaniment of the person’s pains and suffering.
Through a Personal Treatment we work on multiple levels of the being with a variety of holistic tools and the use of master plants, such as detoxifying, emetic and purgative plants (‘Purgas’) and processes, Shamanic Master Plant Diets (‘Dietas’), Master Plant healing ceremonies, as well as oriental consciousness techniques to awaken the heart. Each ceremony, master plant dieta (including the plant and length), purge or process that the participant does is prescribed according to their personal need by Maestro Sanango, the curandero overseeing the process.
Each step of the process is closely guided through personal consultations and guidance to unfold the delicate process of healing to help open as well as integrate the understanding into the heart.
The length of stay usually starts from 1 month, but varies on a case-by-case basis, determined together through prior online consultation and preparation. In cases of substance abuse, a minimum stay of three months is considered necessary, and often more is advisable.
During the healing process, the participant goes into a process of isolation from the world (speaking at the center, with facilitators, guides, and at times other participants is allowed). The process of isolation is a crucial aspect of the work, where we can begin to deeply review our habits, limiting beliefs and conditioning that ties us to our pains, and so begin understanding and releasing them. For processes longer than 3 months, some communication with the outside world can be established.

The Sign-up Process has the following steps:

2. Individual Personal Assessment: health screening, motivation and assessment of fit for the Personal Treatment.
3. Online Consultation with Maestro Sanango, to diagnose your unique case and the personal approach to your treatment. This consultation has a deposit of €100, which is later discounted from the price of the process.
4. Preparatory guidelines to begin working immediately from home after the consultation until the arrival at our center, including dietary, detoxifying and supplementary regimens.
If you are taking any contraindicated medications, we will assist you with a plan and guidance for safely reducing and stopping the medication.
