About this Retreat
Alexsandra (Sasha)
Ayahuasca and Huachuma Maestra and medicine woman · Psychedelic integration guide
Sasha is a medicine woman rooted in Amazonian plant-medicine traditions. She received transmission from the Shipibo Maestros Carlos and Camila, who carry generations of ancestral knowledge, and after many years of working with Mother Ayahuasca she took her seat as a maestra. Her path has been shaped by her dietas, the long periods of discipline and solitude spent learning directly from the plants, and by the question of how to put her gifts at the service of others.
In ceremony, she works with precision and intuition. She has a refined ability to perceive the hidden layers of trauma, energy and memory held in the body, and she helps people release emotional blockages and settle the nervous system. Many guests come to her with emotional wounds and with the physical tension, breath and digestive patterns that often travel with them.
She also leads Huachuma ceremonies, having received the opening to this teacher plant from Maestro Porfirio in the Sacred Valley of Peru, and she holds each participant’s journey with care.
As a psychedelic integration guide, Sasha helps people make sense of their Ayahuasca, San Pedro and other visionary experiences and bring them into daily life. Her sessions turn insight into grounded change, clarity and long-term growth.
Her presence is gentle and strong. People feel safe, understood and invited back into their truth. Her mission is to help others remember who they really are, beyond fear, beyond pain and beyond the stories that once held them back.
A musician since the age of 12, Ana Sofía brings the healing power of sound and rhythm to create a sacred container for transformation. Her inner journey began at 19, leading her through psychological exploration, mystical traditions, and Buddhist practices. As a lifelong seeker, she has walked many paths in search of truth and understanding. Through the profound teachings of plant medicine and integration work, she’s been transitioning from seeker to finder—embodying the wisdom she has gathered and now sharing it with others.
With over 7 years of experience in meditation practice, Ana Sofía will guide you with meditative techniques to prepare your mind for this experience.

HUACHUMA (SAN PEDRO) DAY CEREMONY IN ANTIGUA, GUATEMALA
1 day · Daytime ceremony in nature · Small groups or private · A full arc from preparation to integration.
Huachuma, also known as San Pedro, is an Andean plant teacher that has been used for thousands of years for healing and spiritual growth. It is often called the gentle grandfather: it tends to open the heart through clarity, beauty and connection, and in daylight, outdoors, you stay present and mobile. You can walk, look around and take in what you are shown as it happens.
Your day begins with a short introduction and preparation, moves into the ceremony in nature, and ends with a closing integration circle, so you go home with your experience already held and put into words.
WHO IT'S FOR
A single ceremony may be right for you if you:
- Are new to ceremonial plant medicine and want a gentle, well-held introduction

- Have done deeper work with other plant medicines and want a heart-centered way to integrate it
WHO WILL HOLD YOU
Sasha leads the Huachuma ceremonies, having received transmission and the opening of this teacher plant from Maestro Porfirio in the Sacred Valley of Peru. YOUR SAFETY COMES FIRST
Plant medicines are not right for everyone. Huachuma can interact with certain medications. Every guest completes a health and medication form, followed by a video call where we go through it together and answer any questions you have. If the medicine isn’t safe for you right now, we will tell you honestly and help you decide on next steps.
PREPARING FOR YOUR CEREMONY
Starting 3 to 5 days before, we ask you to eat simply and lightly: fresh fruit, vegetables, homemade meals, white fish or chicken, and herbal or decaf teas. Please avoid red meat and seafood, fried, processed or spicy food, heavy salt and sugar, caffeine, alcohol, other substances (including other plant medicines), and sexual activity. We will send you the full guide when you book.
What to bring: a backpack, comfortable hiking clothes and shoes you can get wet, a rain jacket, warm layers, a swimsuit, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, natural insect repellent, a water bottle, a journal and pen, and a musical instrument if you like.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS OFTEN DESCRIBE
Every journey is different, but participants often speak of feeling lighter, clearer about a question they came with, more connected to nature and to the people around them, and more at ease with themselves.
