Details of this retreat

New Year's Illumination
You have built a great deal. The question is what it is for.

You lead, decide, and deliver. By most measures, this year worked. Somewhere between the targets and the travel, your direction started coming from outside you. The plan for 2027 is already drafted. The person who has to live it was never consulted.

New Year's Illumination is eight days, three ceremonies, and a small circle of people who take their inner life as seriously as their work. You spend the last day of the year in ceremony and cross into 2027 awake to what matters, with a direction you can feel in your body and act on in January.

You may recognize yourself here

Success that looks right and feels flat. The milestones land. The meaning does not.
Strategy without a center. Clear goals for everyone else, an unclear why for yourself.
Always on. No real pause in years, only quieter versions of work.
Logic has taken you far. The analytical mind got you here. It cannot show you what is next.

Why the New Year

Most people ring in the year. You can cross into it. The turn of the year is the one moment the whole world pauses between an ending and a beginning. Most people fill it with a party and a countdown, then wake on January 1 as the same person with a new list. Spend the last day of the year in ceremony, and that threshold becomes something you live through rather than watch on a clock.

San Pedro (Huachuma), the Illuminator

San Pedro (Huachuma) is a sacred Andean cactus medicine with a long ceremonial history, held in daylight and in nature. A master teacher of truth, the medicine quiets the busy mind, illuminates what is out of alignment with truth, love, and integrity, and returns you to the core of who you are. Then the medicine calls you to act on what you see.

Vision, not resolution. The medicine illuminates the direction rooted in what matters to you, not the goals you borrowed from others.
Truth beneath the noise. In the silence of ceremony, the medicine moves you from the mind into the heart, where you hear what you already know.
Patterns seen, choices owned. The medicine illuminates the patterns and beliefs that have run their course, and asks you to own your choices, words, and actions.
A felt sense of forward. 2027 stops being a date on a calendar and becomes a year you are building on purpose.

Three ceremonies, one threshold

Ceremony I, The Opening. You establish relationship with the medicine. The circle forms. Your intention is stated and witnessed.

Ceremony II, December 31, The Threshold. You spend the final day of the year in ceremony, with vision as the explicit intention. You cross into 2027 conscious and clear.

Ceremony III, The Anchor. What opened is integrated and sealed. Your vision becomes embodied, a direction you can feel rather than notes you took.

Between ceremonies, integration days hold somatic sessions, breathwork, movement, art therapy, ocean time, and one-to-one time with your guardians. Each ceremony begins in the morning on a day of fasting and runs about eight hours.

Prepare, Immerse, Integrate

Prepare, before you arrive: intake consultation, health and safety screening, and two individual sessions to sharpen your intention.
Immerse, December 28 to January 4: three ceremonies, two breathwork sessions, your ocean-view suite, and all meals.
Integrate, after you return: three personal integration sessions that turn your vision into a concrete 2027 action plan.

How you are held

The immersion is guided by trauma-informed principles for safety. The work centers on clarity, ownership, and aligned action in the life you are living today.

This is for you if

You have built real success and are ready to expand it
You want to enter 2027 with a clear vision, not another list
You will look honestly at what is out of alignment and own your part
You will do the preparation and arrive with a clear intention
You can commit to the full eight days, offline
You are stable enough to go deep

This is not for you if

You want a vacation or a New Year's party
You expect the medicine to fix your life or give you the answers
You are in acute mental health crisis
You will not prepare, or engage with integration afterward
You are curious but without a clear intention
You are pregnant, or have a heart condition, psychosis, or current suicidal ideation or a history of attempts

Questions to sit with before you decide

There are no right answers. Notice which question your body reacts to before your mind does.

What did this year cost you that you are not willing to pay again?
Where has logic taken you as far as it can?
Where does your life look fine from the outside and feel unsettled within?
What are you ready to leave behind on December 31?
If 2027 had real meaning and purpose, what would be different by next December?
Are you ready to meet the new year awake, rather than distracted from it?

In our guests' words

"From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of safety and care. I left with clarity, gratitude, and profound shifts." Alessandra, Huachuma, January 2026

"I realized I had been living in mild fear, anxiety, confusion, and distraction. I leave with a renewed understanding of what makes us whole." Kim, Huachuma, March 2025

"The work that Nikki did with our group was healing and truly special. I am honored to have gone through ceremonies with her." Richard, San Pedro ceremony

A Welcoming Container
While my experience at Ananda Lodge was brief, it was nothing short of warm, welcoming, and supportive. From the start, it's easy to feel the care this team has for their pasajeros. The screening was thorough, as was the communication leading up to the journey.

Kimberly and Jay have a truly special property here as well. It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and the cherry on-top of what I truly cared about - a safe ceremonial container.

We had orientation and somatic work before our ceremony and integration afterwards alongside the most nourishing meals. I felt completely at-ease with the medicine carrier and with this team at the helm. It's clear they operate with integrity and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to do life-altering work here. Thank you both for an enriching experience!

Unforgetable Experience
My time at Ananda Lodge was deeply meaningful, and weeks after returning home, I am still discovering how much the experience gave me. My integration journey will continue for months, but I can already say that Ananda holds a very special place in my heart. I actually plan on making this a once a year "must do" from now on.

Jason, Kimberly, and Dana guided our experiences, offered space for reflection, connection, and healing. The ceremonies, breathwork, Reiki, music, and time connecting with nature each brought something different to my journey. Some moments were beautiful and peaceful; others challenged me to surrender, look inward, and meet myself with greater compassion.

What I treasure most is what I brought home: a deeper appreciation for my family, a renewed desire to care for my body and mind, and a clearer intention to bring more love and awareness into my daily life. I am still working with what surfaced during my stay, and those discoveries continue to unfold through meditation, journaling, and everyday moments.

Ananda was much more than a retreat for me. It was a meaningful pause that gave me room to listen to myself and reconnect with what matters. I am deeply grateful to everyone who was part of that experience. Five stars, with heartfelt thanks.

Exceptional care from beginning to end
I can’t say enough about the care, compassion, and thoughtfulness that Emma, Michal, and Kimberly bring to every part of the retreat, from preparation through the retreat itself and into integration afterward.

They support you every step of the way, meet you exactly where you are, and provide the care you need in each moment. Nothing feels generic or rushed. Their support is personal, attentive, and deeply intentional. I felt safe, seen, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire experience.

The accommodations are beautiful, peaceful, and extremely comfortable. The food is delicious, nourishing, and thoughtfully planned to support the medicine and the work taking place throughout the week. Every detail feels intentional.

I am incredibly grateful to the Ananda team and would highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a thoughtful, enriching, and well-supported experience.

Where My Soul Found Its Way Home
The Empowered Path Retreat--I came to Ananda Lodge looking to go deeper into my own healing work, this time through plant medicine, and after one phone call with Kimberly, it was an easy decision. From the moment I arrived, their intention was palpable--in the quiet design of every space, from the sitting area to the maloca to the outdoor spaces meant for both community and stillness with nature. Kimberly, Jason, Dana, and the whole team held that intention with such care, offering one-on-one guidance after several of my ceremonies that made all the difference. That care extended well beyond the retreat itself, too--four weeks of preparation beforehand and three months of integration support afterward, with group calls and one-on-one sessions held online to help me carry the experience forward. I left with a true sense of self-acceptance and a felt understanding of what empowerment really means--being blanketed in unconditional love, and realizing how much love I have to give in return. It truly felt like stepping into another realm, heaven found here on earth. I will carry this experience with me always, and I hope anyone reading this finds their own way to Ananda Lodge.

Amazing experience!!
I cannot recommend this more highly . Kimberly and Dana and Jason made me feel extremely comfortable and safe throughout the retreat. I did not have any spiritual experience and was not sure what to expect from the medicine and the ceremonies - I will admit I was a bit skeptical. Given all that - I left Ananda feeling like a new person. Kimberly and Dana held space for everyone and allowed us each to experience the medicine and ceremonies at our own pace. I arrived on my own and left having shared a deeply personal experience with people I love.
