About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Welcome to Odyssey's Meditation and Psilocybin Retreat, the first of its kind in the world!*

This retreat is an immersive, all-inclusive 6-day experience designed to maximize the benefits of two psilocybin journeys combined with meditation. This is not a psilocybin retreat with some meditation: it is a modern meditation retreat combined with guided psilocybin experiences.

Research has shown that psilocybin increases meditation depth and produces larger positive changes (compared to a placebo) even four months after the journey. Similarly, meditation seems to enhance the positive effects of psilocybin and counteract possible distressing effects (you can read about the study in the prestigious scientific journal Nature).

Ideal candidates are those who have experience with both meditation and psychedelics and would like to enhance their practice by combining the two. This retreat is not intended for those specifically looking to address mental health issues.

A Journey Toward the Future You Want
Invaluable! It changed my life. The facilitators were absolutely amazing. The ranch was incredibly healing and beautiful. The food was nourishing and yummy. The people felt like they were hand selected to be on that retreat together. The facilitators were so, so, so amazing! Having them explain what we could expect before hand really calmed my nerves. They were there for absolutely anything we needed. They related to us personally while remaining professional. I hope to stay in contact with them and do other journeys with them in the future. Odyssey provides a super safe space where you can go uncover yourself and get the tools to rebuild into the future you you want to be.

This Work Could Heal Earth
I experienced an extreme existential understanding transformation. I’ve been telling people that my human form is no longer with us! It’s definitely something to explore if you’ve already been doing self-help work and are ready to face / challenge anything that has been put or that you have accidentally put in your own way of healing. I loved every single aspect of the experience. My only suggestion would be getting the word out further. I seriously think this work could heal Earth!

An Experience That Goes Beyond the Retreat
The Retreat was incredibly valuable and may lead to some much needed life changes. What initially took me aback from other therapeutic experiences was just how open the facilitators were personally. From our initial call, Drew had shared a lot of personal anecdotes about why psychedelics are important to him. I bonded with Becca over the grief of losing our fathers. Just off the jump, they set the tone and allowed the group to very quickly be vulnerable. With that vulnerability quickly turns into a very powerful few days and lifelong relationships. Odyssey is life changing and the bonds you develop with your retreat participants cannot be understated.

Can I do this every year?
My experience of Odyssey's 5-day meditation and psilocybin retreat was exceptional. Since returning home, I've been wondering how I can make it happen annually, though preferably with the same amazing facilitators and cohort of participants each time! So much of the power of the psilocybin journey is determined by the 'set and setting,' and Odyssey totally gets it. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, the food delicious (still waiting for that pecan brownie recipe, please), the conversation and day-before prep just right. The guided meditations and meditation-to-discussion ratio were so helpful. I never would have expected to feel so comfortable with and connected to 12 people who were previously total strangers, but that's how good the facilitators were. And how powerful the shared psilocybin experiences were. I highly recommend the retreat that includes meditation, but I would trust any of the Odyssey offerings given my first retreat experience with them. Looking forward to the next one!

Open Hearts, Profound Connections
I’m truly unable to express the impact the journey has had on my mental health. There was never a moment I did not feel supported and held by our amazing facilitators. I loved the fact that nine women can come together, open their hearts to total strangers and find support and create new profound relationships! Odyssey is an amazing space where I felt supported and loved by both the facilitators and other participants.
