About this Retreat
**Casya Childers** specializes in therapeutic coaching and healing that weaves together a variety of modalities and techniques. Her day job? She works mostly online with clients suffering from trauma and anxiety, guiding them through profound and often rapid transformations.
Her worldview is rich and diverse. She was raised in small-town USA, spent most of her adult life in refugee settlements in the Himalayas, and has traveled extensively all over the world studying spirituality and engaging in service work. She has collected an array of intense life lessons, therapeutic skills and went through her own full-blown spiritual initiation via kundalini awakening.
Casya believes that the path forward for the human race is to facilitate individual awakening. The old paradigms of social change – protest, war and mass movements – are outdated. The new paradigm is internal – if enough people engage open-heartedly in their own inner healing and awaken their gifts, the collective consciousness of the entire planet will hit a critical mass, and we will enter an era of greater peace, harmony and abundance for all.
A powerful trauma-informed community leader and facilitator, Casya curates life-altering therapeutic workshops that draw from both the academic and metaphysical worlds, focusing on the point where science and spirituality merge. She loves working with people and groups who are committed to the path of self-inquiry and personal development, and specializes in identification and subsequent elimination of major blocks to growth.
Born in the USA, Casya now lives on the coast of Southern Spain with her young son. She began her career as a high school educator, famously moving on to develop the Tibet Women’s Soccer charity in India, where she served as Executive Director for seven years.
After leaving India, Casya began formal training in various spiritual and therapeutic tools, bringing in elements of somatics, shadow work, emotional rewiring and hypnosis. She is a long-time vipassana meditator, kundalini yogi, studied at Las Piramides del Ka at Lake Atitlan and has undertaken countless psychedelic journeys over the past 25 years as both participant and guide. She is currently training with Catherine Hale, Christian Pankhurst and Rachel Rickards with The Field Facilitator Training, specializing in emergent group field spaces.

Details of this retreat
Imagine a space that combines the healing power of psilocybin with sound medicine, voice activation, somatic movement and more...
This is a trauma-informed space to connect with like-minded souls and with the parts of yourself you haven't had time for lately. Many arrive with big existential questions, locked up emotions and a longing for deep connection. At Inside Out you'll be safely guided to awaken your life-force energy and work through whatever you need to, all held in the loving energy of tribe. All parts of you are welcome here.
We arrive at charming Finca Putumayo on Friday morning, an intentionally created transformational retreat center just next to the mystical village of Salobrena, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. After enjoying a lovingly prepared lunch made with local ingredients, our work begins. Workshops are designed to amplify the group field we will create with our presence - building trust, intimacy and starting to open our hearts to each other, and most importantly to ourselves.
Workshops will be led by Casya Childers, a trauma-informed group facilitator and psychotherapist, and Nir Shraiber, a master sound healer and somatic guide. They will lead us on a journey of deep trance, ecstatic movement, voice activation, emotional intimacy and heart-opening ancient ritual.
Our first night's highlight will be a cacao sound ceremony next to the fire, opening our energetic bodies and truly landing in the space and with each other.
Saturday we will continue our journey with more workshops, bringing us deeper inside ourselves, while connecting consciously with the energy of the divine, nature and our fellow seekers. The afternoon will bring a period of silence and introspection in preparation for the night's ceremony.
Still in silence, we will gather in the maloka and prepare to journey with the psilocybin. The journey will last about 3-4 hours, and will be accompanied by live medicine music. You will likely have periods of solo journeying within yourself, or feel compelled to dance, sing, move or interact with a facilitator. Whatever moves through you will be welcomed, and you'll be strongly supported by our experienced guides.
Sunday you may choose to wake early and watch the sunrise behind the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains, immersed in birdsong and the hum of these ancient lands. We will take our time together to engage in guided integration practices, encouraging full embodiment of your realizations, insights and energetic transmissions gained over the weekend.
It will be an adventure for sure. You will bond with a new tribe of people. You'll move and journey in ways you never have before. And most importantly, you'll leave a bit more in touch with what's on the inside, ready to bring your unique magic OUT into the world.
