Details of this retreat
The Joy of Meditation is a retreat to explore the philosophy, science, and experience of the meditation practice.
Whether an advanced meditation practitioner or someone new to the practice, you will benefit greatly from this transformative weekend get-away.
Through interactive discussions, we will deepen our understanding of the practice and effects of meditation, learn about different types of meditation, and experience the practice ourselves. Additionally, participants will take part in periods of silence to be able to experience the self-reflective benefits that silence offers. For those who have not taken part in a fully silent meditation retreat, this is a good way to become introduced to this powerful practice.
Besides regular meditation sessions, participants will also practice daily yoga postures to complement the meditation sessions. Delicious vegetarian meals will be served.
