Experience the wisdom and spiritual guidance of our authentic shamans during your journey with us!
I'm originally from Germany, but I've been living in Peru for a while now. My aim is to organize special trips that show off the best of Peru - its stunning mountains, famous spots like Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley.
But I also want these trips to be about more than just sightseeing. That's why I include things like meditation, yoga, and ancient ceremonies to add a deeper experience. We work with real shamans to create beautiful ceremonies that let you really connect with Andean spirituality. Come and join us to meet a shaman and explore the spiritual side of the Andes with us!
I'm Ruty, and I come from a local community in Peru. As a professional guide, I've dedicated myself to understanding the Andean Cosmovision and spirituality of our country. Now, my passion is to unveil the genuine essence of Peru to others, guiding them to connect with nature and feel its true spirit.
Come along with me on a journey to uncover Peru's hidden gems and experience its soulful energy. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. I'm here to help you have an unforgettable adventure with a deeper purpose.

Embark on a Spiritual Journey: Local Homestay at Ausangate Mountain
Join us on a transformative two-day journey from Cusco to the awe-inspiring Ausangate Mountain, where sacred traditions and dramatic Andean landscapes come together. On day one, we travel through the South Valley, enjoy authentic local cuisine, and take part in a spiritual ceremony guided by an Andean shaman, set against the powerful presence of Ausangate. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a warm and welcoming local homestay, immersed in this sacred high-altitude environment.
On day two, begin the morning at the mystical Otorongo Lagoon, where an Andean ceremony offers deeper insight into Inca cosmology and a meaningful connection with nature. After a nourishing lunch in Pacchanta, we return to Cusco, carrying with us lasting memories, renewed energy, and a profound sense of balance. This experience offers a unique blend of cultural immersion, spiritual connection, and natural beauty - an unforgettable journey in the heart of the Andes.
We recommend staying in Cusco for at least four days prior to this travel program to allow your body sufficient time to acclimatize to the altitude.
Schedule
Day 1: Cusco - Pacchanta - Ausangate
We'll start our trip from Cusco, heading towards the South Valley for about 3 hours until we reach the Pacchanta community near the Ausangate mountain. Next, we'll either hop on horses or walk to explore the Ausangate mountain landscape. Along the way, we'll stop for breakfast at a local family's house. Then, we'll continue our journey towards Ausangate. Once we arrive, we'll be welcomed into another local family's home, where we'll have a coca leaf oracle reading with our Andean shaman. After lunch, we'll participate in some spiritual cleansing ceremonies right in front of the Ausangate mountain. We will spend the night at a local homestay close to Ausangate and enjoy a local dinner.
Day 2: Ausangate - Pacchanta - Cusco
Today, we'll kick off our day with breakfast before heading to the Otorongo Lagoon, a special spot in the Ausangate area. It's about a 25-minute walk to reach the lagoon, where we'll participate in a significant Andean ceremony led by our local priest. This ceremony is all about expressing gratitude and connecting with nature and ourselves. Our Andean shaman will share insights into Inca cosmology and ancient practices. After this meaningful experience, we'll go back to Pacchanta for lunch and then take our transportation back to Cusco.
Our retreat center is located in the Sacred Valley of the Andes, a peaceful and beautiful area about 1.5–2 hours from the city of Cusco.
The nearest international airport is Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) in Cusco, Peru. Most international travelers connect through Lima (Jorge Chávez International Airport – LIM) and then take a short domestic flight to Cusco (approximately 1 hour).
We offer private pick-up from either your hotel in Cusco or directly from the Cusco airport, and we will bring you comfortably to the retreat center in the Sacred Valley.
