About this Retreat
Shipibo Master Healer
Maestro Francisco is a humble but highly esteemed Shipibo-Conibo healer with over 36 years of experience in traditional plant medicine and 24 years of leading Ayahuasca Ceremonies. A member of the Shipibo-Conibo nation, he carries the rich ancestral legacy of working with sacred plants for healing, protection, and empowerment.
He began his healing journey at 22 and has since attained the prestigious rank of “Onanya” within the “Meraya” lineage, one of the highest levels of mastery in the Shipibo tradition. His work has taken him across Peru and internationally, and he has shared his profound knowledge with countless individuals.
As the director of a healing center in Pucallpa, Peru, Maestro Francisco is a compassionate healer and shamanic trainer dedicated to holistic healing and transformative spiritual growth.
Shipibo Master Healer
Maestra Tessy is a Shipibo-Conibo Master Healer with over 15 years of experience working with plant medicine. She began her healing journey at age 15 and has become a powerful Onanya, a Shipibo word meaning “one who has wisdom.” Her Shipibo name, “Kestenrama,” translates to “Sacred medicinal song called ícaro,” reflecting her deep connection to the healing power of traditional chants.
Currently, Maestra Tessy works alongside her father, Maestro Francisco, combining their wisdom to create profound healing experiences. Together, they bring unconditional love and open hearts to their Ayahuasca ceremonies, guided by the beauty of their ícaros. At Inner Flight Retreat, we are honored to work with Maestra Tessy and grateful for her wisdom, strength, and sacred presence.
Alexandra Tentiu is the co-founder of Inner Flight Retreat in Costa Rica, a Shipibo Ayahuasca healing sanctuary she created alongside her husband. She is an apprentice to the Shipibo Onaya lineage—traditional Amazonian Doctors—and walks the medicine path under the guidance of revered maestros. Her Shipibo name, Pekun Rama, means Warrior of the Present Moment.
Alexandra is committed to deepening her path through ongoing master plant dietas in Peru, continuously refining her knowledge and connection with the plants under the mentorship of her Shipibo Maestros.
As a facilitator of Ayahuasca and Kambo, she supports profound healing and spiritual transformation through sacred plant medicine. She also channels Tara, a guiding consciousness that offers clarity and awakening to those seeking higher guidance.
Her voice reaches a global audience through the Ayahuasca Awakening Podcast, where she shares integration tools, wisdom teachings, and soul support for those walking the sacred medicine path. She also offers one-on-one integration programs, helping individuals ground their journeys and embody lasting transformation.
Roberto Tentiu co-founded Inner Flight Retreat in Costa Rica, where he collaborates with his wife, Alexandra Tentiu, to create a sanctuary for healing and transformation. A dedicated Shipibo Onaya apprentice, Roberto has trained extensively with Maestro Francisco and Maestra Tessy, esteemed Shipibo healers in the Amazon jungle of Peru. Through this training, he has gained profound wisdom and the blessings of the Master Plants.
Honored with the Shipibo name “Pekon Bari” (Warrior of the Sun), Roberto embodies the radiant energy of his purpose. As an experienced Ayahuasca and Kambo facilitator and emotional healing coach, he compassionately guides transformative ceremonies. With deep respect for plant medicine traditions, Roberto supports individuals on their paths of self-discovery, emotional healing, and spiritual growth.
Adrian Escobar is a Shipibo Onaya apprentice, breathwork facilitator, and Ayahuasca integration coach committed to guiding individuals on their healing journeys. His path of self-discovery focuses on reconnecting with his true essence to live a purposeful and authentic life. Guided by the sacred teachings of medicinal plants and native wisdom, Adrian has cultivated a deep respect and gratitude for Mother Earth and the Great Spirit’s creation.
As a trauma-informed coach, Adrian specializes in Ayahuasca integration and inner child healing. He helps individuals process emotional wounds and embody the lessons of plant medicine. He also uses conscious breathwork as a powerful personal growth and deep healing tool. Adrian’s compassionate approach creates safe, nurturing spaces, reflecting his dedication to transformation and self-discovery for himself and others.
