January 26: Arrival in the Sacred Valley
We will gather throughout the day in the stunning Sacred Valley of the Inkas, nestled among the majestic mountains of Peru. We will stay in a welcoming retreat center, ideal for resting after the journey and acclimating to the altitude. In the afternoon, we will hold an introductory sharing circle to set our intentions and open the space for the retreat. It will be a precious moment to meet each other with authenticity and clarity.
January 27: Visit to Chawaytiri Community
After breakfast and morning practice, we will travel to the Chawaytiri community, nestled in the mountains. There, we’ll witness their beautiful ancestral weaving practices, passed down through generations. We’ll share a traditional lunch with the community, then return to Pisac for a Kirtan chanting circle in the afternoon.
January 28: Ccochahuasi & Evening Ayahuasca Ceremony
Morning practice followed by a visit to the Ccochahuasi Animal Sanctuary, home to animals rescued from captivity and exploitation. In the late afternoon, we will gather as a group to prepare for the first medicine ceremony in the evening.
January 29: Temazcal & Evening Ayahuasca Ceremony
The morning will be dedicated to a sharing circle, allowing us to integrate and reflect on the experiences of the previous night. At midday, we will experience a Temazcal ceremony*. In the afternoon, we visit the Pisac Museum. In the evening, we gather for the second medicine ceremony.
January 30: Intiwatana Temple
Morning dedicated to sharing circle and practices. Later, we visit the Intiwatana Temple in the hills above Pisac, an ancient Inkan site used for astronomical observation and spiritual alignment. After a guided meditation at the site, we’ll descend on foot through terraced fields and panoramic landscapes. In the afternoon, we visit the Pisac Museum.
January 31: Market & Despacho Ceremony
After breakfast and morning practice, we will visit the vibrant traditional market of Pisac, where Quechua communities bring their handmade goods in a lively celebration of culture and tradition. In the afternoon, we’ll be guided by Maestro Don Vicente through a heartfelt Despacho ceremony, a traditional Andean ritual of offering to Pachamama, the Mother Earth.
February 1: Andean Ceremony with Don Vicente
We will spend the entire day in an energetic and contemplative Andean ceremony, led by Don Vicente. Through direct contact with the elements, we will connect with the spirit of Mapacho, the waters, and the land. The day will conclude with songs around the fire, symbolically releasing what no longer serves us.
February 2: Excursion to Saqsayhuaman & Q’enco
After breakfast and morning practice, we will visit the ancient archaeological sites of Saqsayhuaman and Q’enco, impressive Inkan ceremonial complexes above Cusco.
February 3: Mountain Laguna & Evening Ayahuasca Ceremony
After breakfast and morning practice, we will hike to the laguna, where we’ll relax surrounded by silence and majestic mountains. In the evening, we gather for the third medicine ceremony at Maha Templo.
February 4: Integration & Ollantaytambo
The morning will be dedicated to a sharing circle, allowing us to integrate and reflect on the experiences of the retreat. Later, we head out on an excursion to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inkan ceremonial city renowned for its sacred architecture.
February 5: Excursion to Cusco
After breakfast, we’ll travel to the mythical city of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inka Empire. We’ll begin at the Temple of the Moon, a sacred site associated with feminine energy. From there, we’ll walk through the historic neighborhoods of San Blas and San Ana, and explore the San Pedro Market.
February 6: Departure
Farewell and departure after breakfast.
