About this Retreat
Gabriel is the co-founder of Sacred Waters Sanctuary, a lifelong musician, sound healer, and guide known for creating profound, transcendental musical experiences. His music is deeply inspired by Ayahuasca traditions from around the world, blending sacred medicine songs with heartfelt mantras and healing melodies that open the heart and calm the mind.
Gabriel’s journey into spiritual healing and sound medicine began through his own search for transformation, navigating challenges of self-worth, addiction, and anxiety. Through years of study under a revered guru in India and deep immersion in Indian classical music, Eastern Spirituality, and shamanic practices, he discovered the profound power of sound to heal, uplift, and awaken the spirit. In ceremony, Gabriel holds a grounding energy, creating a safe and sacred container for deep healing. His music and presence serves as a bridge between the seen and unseen, carrying participants into the spiritual realms with shamanic transcendence. His intuitive ability to hold space and call in the light, allows healing to unfold naturally. At Sacred Waters Sanctuary, Gabriel welcomes all who seek healing, clarity, and a deeper connection to themselves. My name is Aria Tau, and I believe sacred entheogenic plants are emerging at this time to catalyze transformative change in the world.
I walked away from a Fortune 50 executive career in technology when I realized that more money and status weren’t bringing me happiness. Instead, the work I was doing often contributed to harm rather than healing for the planet. Feeling depressed and disconnected from my soul’s purpose, I knew I needed a radical shift.
As a youth in South Africa, I was deeply passionate about social and environmental change, practicing meditation, yoga, and studying the Dhamma (the teachings of the Buddha). Yet, I lost touch with this path amidst the burnout cycles of corporate-America.
In the midst of a “dark night of the soul,” I was introduced to Sacred Acacia. My first ceremony humbled me and ignited a profound spiritual awakening, leading me to Peru and reconnecting me with my Indian roots through my passion for music and mantra. This journey awakened my purpose: to create a sanctuary where dreamers and changemakers can find clarity, inspiration, and the tools they need to set their visionary dreams into motion.
Today, as the founder of Sacred Waters Sanctuary, I lead sacred ceremonies and transformational programs designed to help driven change-makers thrive. As a spiritual leadership mentor, I specialize in guiding individuals to cut through the noise, clarify their desires, and take inspired action to create the life they dream of—because you are worthy of having it all.

Join us for 2 nights of transformational healing with Sacred Acacia, guided by Aria, Gabriel, and our caring Angels team. Experience two deep ceremonies enhanced by sacred music, personal sound healing, and integration support—all set in a serene riverfront retreat center nestled in Southern Washington’s old-growth forest.

Our secret riverfront retreat center in Southern Washington, nestled in an old-growth forest.
Approx. 1.5 hours from Portland airport, 2.5 hours from Seattle.
The venue features:
Ceremonial hall in a gorgeous and spacious cabin
Several private rooms to book if available
A fireplace and heating in all the rooms
Several cozy spaces to read, journal, meditate or connect with others
River views - the cabin overlooks a gorgeous river and the property features a second large river with a beach for cold plunges and swimming in the warmer months
Nature trails to explore on the 30+ acre property

Become a Sangha Member (member of our congregation)
Be over the age of 21
Meet our screening requirements and complete our onboarding paperwork
Be fully weaned off any contra-indicated prescription meds (incl. SSRI anti-depressants) and all recreational substances. Please consult a healthcare professional if weaning off medications.
Agree to our community ethics and values, and have read and understood our core beliefs.

What Preparation is Needed?
MIND / SPIRIT: You may have a sense of what is not working in your life and what you'd like to change. It is recommended to set an intention for your journeys and meditate on what is drawing you to sit with us. Finding time in the weeks before the retreat to get quiet, journal your thoughts, and connect with yourself is an important part of the process.
BODY: Our sacrament is more forgiving than the traditional Ayahuasca brew, although we do recommend a diet to prepare the mind and body for the journey. At a minimum, we ask participants to avoid meat, alcohol, all drugs, salt, fatty, processed foods, caffeine and orgasms for 3-5 days prior to ceremony to minimize bodily discomfort.
HEALTH: After booking the retreat, we will send you our screening forms with a list of contraindicated medications and health conditions. If needed, please seek advice from your healthcare provider in order to wean off medications. If you fail our screening for health reasons, we will refund your deposit.
