After honing her skills in classical French cuisine in her home
country of Israel, Maya embarked on a journey that would take
her to national cooking competitions, large convention centers,
and even television.
Settling in the picturesque Montezuma area of Costa Rica, she
made her name as a gifted chef, admired for her creativity and
understanding of flavors. Her restaurant, Puggo's, has since
become an international success.
Now, Maya is eager to share her expertise and diverse insight
into the art of cooking with other food lovers. Join her on this
delicious journey and open your mind to broaden your skillset!

8:30 am Breakfast
10:00 am Knowing the Kitchen Class - At the beginning of each class, there will be a demonstration period where you will receive recipes and practice skills.
12:00 pm Lunch
1:30 pm Deep-sea Fishing Tour
3:00 pm Arrive back from the tour to a cocktail hour with fruit and nuts
4:30 pm Sea-To-Table Cooking Class
6:00 pm Dinner

Getting Here
Directions
There are 2 international airports in Costa Rica: Juan Santamaria (SJO) and Liberia International (LIR). Direct shuttles to/from both airports are included in the retreat. The trip is either 4 or 6 hours, depending on which airport you fly into. However, there is a local flight that is only 30 minutes from each international airport that can also be arranged for an additional cost.
Accommodation
Nestled in the hills of the Delicias neighborhood, this villa holds three large bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. There is a beautiful open-concept kitchen, comfortable living room and spacious balcony. The infinity pool overlooks the mountains of Montezuma and gives breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.
