*Step into the Amazon rain forest for a guided nature trail where you’ll discover unique plants, visit one of the tallest trees, the Argelim Pedra, spot wildlife, and learn about the secrets of the jungle from local guides.
*Piranha fishing (recreational): where you can test your skills and (hopefully) reel in one of these famous fish, learn about their habits and curiosities .
*Night forest observation: a boat ride into the heart of the jungle, where nature’s nighttime orchestra begins—frogs croaking, owls hooting, and the occasional splash of an alligator.
* Visit a indigenous reservation: Hop on a boat and set off for a visit to the Tatuyos Indigenous community, where you’ll participate in a beautiful blessing ceremony and look at their traditions, way of life, and deep connection to the Amazon and Nature.
* Explore the local flour mill. A main food staple for the local communities is the cassava or yuca. You’ll get to visit the mill where they extract the by-products as ingredients for tapioca, bejú, tucupi, and latex for home construction and take part in a hands-on workshop with natural Amazonian oils, where you’ll get to make your own moisturizer or essential oil —a unique opportunity to learn about the region’s rich resources.
* Time to go see one of the most fascinating creatures in the Amazon, the Pink Dolphin, where you’ll get up close with these playful and rare creatures.
* All organic meals, locally sourced and prepared home style. The diversity of fruits, vegetables and fruits in the Amazon will surprise you and delight your palate!
