About this Retreat
I'm Laura, a yoga teacher passionate about assisting people in their journey towards well-being and serenity. I've been teaching on the island of Saint Martin for 6 years, and online, where I also coach future yoga teachers as a trainer.
This retreat is the fruit of my deep desire to create a space away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Lake Atitlan, a secluded spot surrounded by nature and far from all distractions, seemed to me the ideal place to offer everyone the chance to refocus, listen to their bodies and silence their minds.
This retreat is not just a time to practice yoga, but a true inner journey, a total immersion in Guatemalan culture and traditions.
In my dynamic Vinyasa classes, you'll find a mix of strength and flexibility, to challenge you while remaining accessible to all levels.
In my Yin classes, I tell you stories about chakras, meridians and yoga philosophy, while you find stillness and comfort in gentle poses, with a soothing music background.
If you like the smell of incense, palo santo and sage, you've come to the right place :)

How about taking a much-needed break?
Fay away from the hectic pace of everyday life, I invite you to experience a week of deep reconnection.
A timeless space to soothe your body and mind, and nourish your inner energy.
A simple, natural, authentic experience.
The experience you're about to have
Yoga practices facing the lake and volcanoes, to reconnect your body and breath to a living environment.
Immerse yourself in a rich and authentic culture, through ancestral ceremonies (cacao, fire, temazcal) and local encounters.
Time for yourself: free to rest, read, paddle on the lake, explore the surrounding villages or simply listen to the tropical rain from a hammock.
A deep reconnection thanks to highlights such as kirtan, medicinal plant workshops and hikes to sacred Mayan sites.
The rare experience of slowing down, far from modern distractions, in a remote place where nature dictates the rhythm of the day.
