Ayahuasca Retreat Colorado Weekend

Join the team of Origen Sagrada for our return to beautiful Colorado. This 2 ceremony night retreat will be led by Taita Universario Queta, from the famous Queta lineage of the Cofan tribe of Putumayo. He is joined by his wife, Abuela Vitelia. He brings with him his very potent medicine, prepared by him with medicine grown at his farm and maloka at the Cofan Reservation. We are beyond excited that he has agreed to join us for these retreats, to be able to share the knowledge of his ancestry with you.

Retreat will be hosted at a beautiful private lodge outside of Woodland Park.

There are no private accommodations. You will need to bring a mat and your sheets and blankets. YOU NEED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN MAT FOR THIS RETREAT. We have a limited amount of mats.

We will begin our retreat with an herbal plant blessing which will help harmonize our energies and prepare us for ceremony. Then we will have an orientation to answer any questions you may have.

In Colombia, Ayahuasca Ceremonies last all night. We begin with the Circle of Word, a time in which we utilize the medicines Ambil and Mambe to help weave the words of the Elders. These discussions are generally on topics picked by the Elders to help us understand the teachings of the ancestors, and help integrate the messages of the medicine. We drink twice in the night, with traditional therapies being performed in between.

You will receive a personal spiritual cleansing and healing ceremony during the weekend.

After the second cup and a period of reflection, our musicians will begin to play the beautiful music which will help you focus during the ceremony. Music is generally played until dawn or later.

This is a great weekend for folks new to the Medicines to learn and get to know the medicine. For those of you who have already experienced the Remedy before, the weekend is a great way to reconnect and to learn the ancient traditions of the Ancestors in Colombia.

There are translators available for you to talk or consult with the Elders one on one.
