Kal Prakashini Ji is a lifelong seeker and steward of authentic Yogic wisdom, shaping the evolving vision of Akhanda Yoga Wellbeing alongside her husband, Himalayan Master Dr. Yogrishi Vishvketu. She serves as a co-architect of Akhanda Yoga Wellbeing’s global mission — initiating, expanding, and nurturing transformative initiatives such as the Akhanda Online Ashram, Haldi Rani by Akhanda, the School of Breathing Sciences, and research-backed contributions to Akhanda Yoga Institute’s educational ecosystem and the living body of Yogic knowledge.
She is also the founder of the Kal Prakashini Foundation and That Space Within P/L, visionary initiatives devoted to the empowerment of timeless, authentic wellbeing for all — reviving and sharing Yogic wisdom, advancing social and gender equity, and offering practical, holistic tools for trauma recovery.
Rooted in Ashram life from a young age and guided by her own lived experiences with trauma, Prakashini Ji brings a rare integration of deep spiritual immersion and academic insight. Her unique background — encompassing over 40 years of Yogic wisdom exposure and degree qualifications in psychology, neuroscience, and trauma recovery — is complemented by a prior career in the stock exchange and sustainable investment management. This fusion informs her grounded yet passionate and visionary approach to Yogic wellbeing.
As Head of Research and Design at Akhanda, Prakashini Ji is passionate about empowering Dharmic (sustainable) initiatives and sharing self-healing tools that are both timeless and timely — of practical relevance to modern-day practitioners. She expands wisdom at the intersection of holistic Yoga, trauma-informed care, and contemporary neuroscience. Known for her soulful voice that carries the depth of that which is timeless — Nāda, Veda, Mantra, and Raga — Prakashini Ji transmits teachings that touch both intellect and heart.
A senior faculty leader and specialist in Yoga Philosophy, Classical Tantra, Kundalini Yoga, Vedic and Nāda-based Mantra, Raga, Pranayama, and Yoga Nidra, she is dedicated to both the revival of authentic ancient practices and to advancing gender equity in both the Yogic and sustainable business worlds. Through her unwavering commitment, she guides individuals and communities into deeper connection with the Self, spiritual wisdom, creativity, and sustainable paths of transformation.
