Permaculture is a design philosophy and approach to sustainable living that integrates the principles of ecology, agriculture, and community development. It focuses on creating systems that are self-sufficient regenerative, and harmonious with nature. The rhe term comes from “permanent agriculture” or “permanent culture”, emphasizing long-term sustainability. Permaculture is guided by three Ethical Principles:

Earth Care: Protect and nurture earth therefore ensuring the health of ecosystems and biodiversity.

People Care: Support the well-being of individuals and communities.

Fair Share: Redistribute surplus resources to promote equity and ensure sustainability. Permaculture is a lot more than just a way to grow food. It’s a way to live life, design and manage human settlements, to interact with the world around us and find balance in all sorts of aspects of our existence.

This 6-day program will give you a full overview of what it means to design, grow and develop in alignment with nature. This can be relevant for:

A building, housing or garden project you’re working on
A farm, or farm stay
General familiarity with planting, and where to begin
A beautifully self-sufficient home that you want to create for yourself and/or family
Developing a city community or garden in your area of living
Self-development and life change through community, planting and art
You will be learning the basics of how to start a garden, how to integrate animals, divide/design your piece of land, project or future home into different zones and much more.
