Step away from pressure and into a retreat designed for calm, clarity, and rejuvenation. This tailored retreat offers a space where you can leave behind the demands of daily life and focus on restoring your inner wellbeing. Through a combination of mindfulness practices, guided relaxation techniques, and restorative activities, this retreat provides a practical toolkit for managing stress and finding balance.

Here, you’ll learn proven methods to calm your mind, release tension, and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges. Whether it’s through smacking the stress away with African drumming, nourishing meals, yoga, or gentle movement; each activity will help you recharge on multiple levels. With the support of seasoned practitioners and group community, you’ll leave feeling lighter, more centred, and equipped with the tools to maintain that sense of calm long after the retreat ends.

Schedule

Day 1 - Arrival
4:00pm | Arrive at our retreat location. Settle in, enjoy a cup of tea, explore the grounds and meet fellow retreaters.
4:45pm – 5:45pm | Slow Flow Evening Yoga
6:30pm | Final check-in, and final call for electronics. If you’re travelling from afar, or running a little late, please arrive by this time so you’re settled in for dinner.
6:45pm – 7:45pm | Dinner. Enjoy a nourishing shared meal in a group setting.
8:15pm – 8:30pm | Welcome Chat & Intention Setting.
8:30pm - 9:15pm | Yoga Nidrā
9:15pm | Bedtime

Day 2
6:00am - 7:00am | Sleep In / Sunrise. Enjoy a sleep in or catch the sunrise.
7:30am – 9:00am | Yoga. An all-level group practice to warm up for the day ahead.
9:00am – 9:45am | Breakfast. Break your fast with the first meal of the day.
9:45am – 11:00am | Meditation Experience
11:00am – 1:00pm | Free Time. Explore, rest, sunbathe. Enjoy some free time.
1:00pm – 2:00pm | Lunchtime
2:00pm – 3:00pm | Facilitated Activity
3:00pm – 5:30pm | Free Time. Reflect, journal, nap. Enjoy some free time.
5:30pm – 6:40pm | YOGA. Wind down with a gentle Yin session.
6:45pm – 7:45pm | Dinner. Enjoy a well deserved dinner.
8:15pm - 8.45pm | Yoga Nidrā
9:00pm | Rest

Day 3 - Final Morning
7:30am – 9:00am | Yoga. An all-level group practice to warm up for the day ahead.

Directions

Our address is: 571 Wheelbarrow Ridge Road, Colo Heights.

The venue is nestled in Colo Heights, approximately 120 minutes by car from Sydney CBD. The nearest town and train station is Windsor (39 minutes away). We’re also 44 minutes away from Richmond Station (trains are more frequent at this station).

You’re welcome to drive and park at the retreat or catch the train. We recommend a train to Richmond, so you can easily book a taxi to the retreat centre for roughly $100. (Note: we suggest booking in advance, as it can be difficult to organise a taxi from there.) If flying from interstate, you can first catch a train to Sydney Central, and go from there. Accommodation

Sitting pretty on a quiet country road, our retreat centre has all the charm of a historic homestead. Our main dining area overlooks lush green gardens, while a large country-style verandah offers the perfect communal space to soak in the natural surrounds. Guest rooms are cosy, and each now comes with its own dedicated bathroom—some with direct en-suite access and others via a private external entry. Heaters and extra blankets are provided in cooler months, and simple rotating fans keep you comfortable when it’s warm. If you’d prefer your own private room, you can upgrade for an additional $149 per person; otherwise, you’ll be paired with another lovely single female guest in a shared room. Our grounds feature a lovely pond and plenty of peace and quiet—ideal for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life. Please note, rooms don’t include kettles or fridges; hot water for a cuppa and limited fridge space are available in the dining area.
