Born and raised in India, yoga has been an integral part of my life from an early age.
For over a decade, I sailed the world as a navigation officer in the Merchant Navy, enjoying a stable career and the excitement of travel. But over time, I felt a deeper need to understand life’s true purpose. Yoga had always been part of my life and eventually, I felt drawn to make it a priority, diving deeper into my practice and exploring Vedanta philosophy for the answers I was seeking.
I studied yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation and yogic philosophy at Sivananda Ashram Madurai and Vedantic scriptures inspired by Swami Sivananda’s teachings at Divine Life Society Rishikesh. I deepened my knowledge and earned a Master degree in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA Bangalore, focusing on integrated healing. I studied Advaita Vedanta at Chinmaya International Foundation Kerala and received mantra sadhana initiation from Om Swami at Sri Badrika Ashram. I also trained in Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Yin Yoga at top institutions in India, including Sivananda Neyyar Dam Kerala, Mysore, Bihar School of Yoga and Rishikesh.
As a Vedantic storyteller and founder of House of Vedas Yoga Shala and Homestay in Delhi-NCR, I’ve been teaching yoga since 2019, combining the richness of classical yoga with modern therapeutic approaches. My classes include Hatha, Yin, Ashtanga and yoga therapy for stress, anxiety and chronic conditions. Also meditation, Pranayama and Mantra chanting.
Through workshops, retreats and guided sadhanas, I offer a space for students to explore ancient wisdom and unlock the peace and clarity within.
It’s an honour to share the transformative power of yoga with my students.
