About this Retreat

A Few Words About Yoga Teacher
Georgia Ahimsa was born in Thessaloniki and, from an early age, showed a natural inclination toward spirituality.
Her quest for inner growth led her, in 2008, to her great love—yoga—and specifically to the Satyananda system.
This approach offers a complete and profound understanding of yoga practice, as well as a living lineage of great Gurus in India.
Known to most of her students and friends simply as Ahimsa, she has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2010 in various venues across the city. She also offers voluntary classes in rehabilitation centers such as Argó and in prisons.
In 2024, she created her yogic home studio.
Through frequent travels to India and to the Satyananda ashram in Paiania, she remains deeply connected to the essence of yoga as a way of life—one that emphasizes health and harmony on all levels, along with the expansion of awareness.

Schedule
Day 1: Arrival and Grounding Arrive at Loggas Hotel, nestled in the peaceful hills of Kastoria. Enjoy a welcome drink and check in to your room. Unwind and settle in with some free time. In the evening, join a yoga class to stretch and ground after your journey. Savor a dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, featuring local, nourishing flavors.
Day 2: Nature and Flow Begin your day with a morning yoga session to energize with the rising sun. Enjoy breakfast with a view. Embark on a guided hike along the renowned international trails E4 and E6 (approx. 2 hours). Spend your free time resting or indulging in spa/self-reflection. In the evening, participate in a slow-flow yoga class to restore your body and mind. End the day with dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Water and Exploration Start with a morning yoga class focused on breathwork and movement to awaken your senses. After breakfast, transfer to beautiful Lake Kastoria for a canoe/kayak experience on the calm waters. Enjoy a walking tour of Kastoria’s historic town. Return to the hotel for an evening yoga class to relax and absorb the day’s experiences. Conclude with dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: Farewell and Reflection Enjoy breakfast before checking out and departing
