Details of this retreat

Come and enjoy a magical Day of the Dead Retreat! Where we are Rooted in Remembrace honoring the ancestors and cycles of life.

Join a sacred circle of six women in the heart of Oaxaca during one of Mexico’s most soulful seasons — Día de los Muertos. This intimate retreat weaves together gentle yoga, creative flow, ancestral remembrance, and deep sisterhood in a space held with care, reverence, and warmth.

Each day begins with guided yoga to ground the body and awaken the breath, followed by time to connect and reflect, to honor in love and ritual. We’ll explore traditional altars (ofrendas), connect with local customs, and honor our own lineages in ceremony within and together as a collective.

This retreat is for women seeking something real — a slower rhythm, meaningful connection, peace outside of the hustle and bustle, and the quiet magic that unfolds when we come together with openness and intention.

See why Travel + Leisure has ranked Oaxaca City among the world’s best cities in 2020, 2022, and 2023—and experience Día de los Muertos, an unforgettable celebration that sells out every year.

Schedule

Each day we will rise with yoga, meditation, reflection and a mix of other spiritual practices that will help us to set our intentions for the day. Focusing on remembering and honoring our ancestors for healing, liberation and celebration.

We will follow with a healthy and delicious brunch and then prepare ourselves for the afternoon and evening excursions to experience the Day of the Dead. Each day will be different depending on the schedule of events.

There will be three dinners in house and three dinners out. You will get the chance to experience some of Oaxaca's finest cuisine.

At night we will wind down with a closing circle, reflecting on the day.
