Directions

The closest international airport is Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. From there, Haramara Retreat is about a 45–60 minute drive north, just outside the coastal town of Sayulita.

Haramara can arrange a private or shared shuttle directly from the airport. When flight times align with other participants, you may be able to share the ride.

To make travel smooth, we recommend planning your arrival flight to land before 2:00 pm on the first day of retreat. On departure day, choose a flight that leaves after 4:00 pm, which allows plenty of time for travel back to the airport and check-in.

For those already traveling within Mexico, bus and taxi services are available from Puerto Vallarta or Sayulita, though the arranged shuttle is the most reliable and comfortable way to reach the retreat center.

Accommodation

At Haramara, accommodations are designed to harmonize with the natural environment while offering comfort and rest. Guests stay in hand-crafted palapa cabanas, each uniquely built with natural materials and open-air designs that allow the sounds of the jungle and ocean to flow through. This intentional simplicity invites guests into a full digital detox, reconnecting with nature’s rhythms. Eco-friendly bathrooms with hot water and modern amenities are available for all guests. Haramara’s accommodations balance eco-luxury with simplicity, creating the perfect container for restoration and practice.
