"To All, I recently participated in a week-long retreat in Spain with a team of experienced facilitators from Weareavalon.love. This was the most rewarding self-exploration experience of my life. I have attended other retreats, conferences, and self-discovery weekends, but none of them came close to the profound impact of this journey. I found the Ayahuasca journey to be more beneficial than two years of weekly psychotherapy. The most important component of the retreat was the staff. "The Ayahuasca experience had been calling to me for quite a considerable time, but it was only after dealing with the fallout of a a breakup from a particularly toxic relationship right before Christmas, that I made the spontaneous decision to attend Avalon 29. I arrived at Avalon broken, damaged, full of despair, insecurity and self loathing. Within five days of ceremony, interaction, gentle instruction, massage, one on one discussion, meditation and truly delicious nourishment via the meticulously prepared gourmet diet provided by the retreat, I left Avalon full of joy, , centred, with an almost overwhelming feeling of love -self love especially- clarity of mind, clarity of purpose. I was finally at peace, having made profound social connections as deep if not deeper than any I’d previously made in my entire life prior to going there. The transition in me had begun as quickly as the second day following my first Ayahuasca ceremony, which was held on the evening of my arrival and the immediate change was so obvious and pronounced my fellow participants couldn’t help but comment on it. In fact by the end of the retreat it was expressed to me by some that they regarded my transition in such a short space of time as little short of miraculous and inspirational. This is VERY powerful medicine, not just within the Ayahuasca itself, but also within the music, designed to elevate us into states of consciousness necessary to begin the healing process and purge what hinders us, cripples us or simply no longer serves us; whilst at the same time drawing in profound experiences and insights that help us heal, grow and be the best version of ourselves that we can possibly be. Make no mistake however, retreats like Avalon are only the beginning of the healing journey. Avalon is a doorway that can lead to a richer, more rewarding and satisfying sense of being. If one is prepared to open up, trust in the healing process, surrender to the experience, and embrace the strange with an open heart and without fear, the rewards to oneself can be immeasureable . At Avalon I found being open wasn’t difficult to do, surrounded such as I was by a powerful circles of mutually supportive, fellow participants, and a group of compassionate, responsible, experienced guides that gently led us through the process. During the entire experience I was never in any doubt that I’d placed myself in very good hands. By the time the retreat was over I felt humbled and deeply grateful for the experience, which I count as one of the greatest experiences that I’ve had in all my 64 years of life. This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest gift I’ve given myself. Now as I step back into my life, the challenge is to bring all those insights, lessons and all of the self reflection to bare as i continue my healing away from the tranquil sanctuary that I’ve known for the last five days. My heart yearns for the seclusion and peace that I found there, the perpetual ceremonial fire that blazed throughout, beneath one of the most breathtakingly beautiful night skies I’ve ever seen. As I write this I have every intention of returning to Avalon so that I might find the door that leads to the next stage of my spiritual and emotional healing. If Ayahuasca is calling to you too, do yourself the biggest you will ever do yourself and choose Avalon. you’ll spend the rest of your days grateful that you did, trust me. "

"What can I say ?! I really found it a lifetime changing experience. I am normally a down te earth typical Dutch guy, and if you had asked me before then I would be .quite sceptical about something like this. But now looking back I would love to see that they could make this mandatory for all the leaders and politicians and even for the big corporate guys. I believe if they could do this, the world would look a lot different. Don’t get me wrong I am an entrepreneur as well and I am also a kapitalist. But I mean to say the changes they can maybe start to make are on a different kind of level. I can’t describe the ayahuasca experience it self that’s something what you have to experience yourself. So I don’t even go there. But what I can say if your thinking about doing it ?! DO IT ! And if you have the possibility to do it with the Avalon family.then do so. I could not have been in better hands. What a team ! It’s not just the Ayahuasca, it’s the total package. From the food, the talks, the accommodation, the massage, the yoga, the nature.and of course the bonding with the people. I have learned in 4 days more then in the last 10 years on so many levels. "I went to Barcelona on the 3rd of August 2024 for a bufo alvarius retreat with Avalon. I was extremely nervous about this one, I've done ayahuasca in peru in after following a calling back in 2022 and it was the most terrifying experience of my life, however it completely changed my life for the better in so many ways. After, I felt a calling for bufo so I spent some time doing my research which is very important with these kind of experiences and I came across Avalon with great reviews I decided to message and go for the one to one video call with Ammy which was great there and then, I decided to book the retreat in Barcelona Ammy made me very comfortable, she listened to my story of why I wanted this and she answered all of my questions. And continued to help me right up until the day of my retreat. When I arrived I was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable, I was very nervous but they really calmed my nerves, the facilitators and shaman very professional and after some meditation and breath work we did the bufo and it was the most incredible experience of my life, I instantly surrendered and they took good care of us, when I came back to my body I was laughing and smiling I felt amazing, and that wasn't the end of it, they then fed us delicious fruits and we then all shared our experiences with each other , we was all supposed to be there we helped one an other through the journey we was a family in this moment and it was beautiful. I highly recommend Avalon to anybody looking for healing with bufo. "

"While I don't think psychedelics are for everyone, and it is important to be honest with yourself and your guide / host, I did find this to be exactly what I needed. My experience was primarily an emotional release. I had been particularly affected by symptoms of my CPTSD and BPD following the end of my marriage and triggered into being stuck in unexpressed grief, anxiety, dissociation, and emotional paralysis. I had the intention of moving my stuck energy and seeking clarity. I surrendered to the road medicine - which I think was important because it is very powerful. I felt safe and grounded in my intention though I was naturally a little nervous in anticipation. Just laying on a mat on the ground in Isa's backyard in San Agustinillo after having done the allusions and prayers and meditation. My experience was that it came on strong and right away I was transported somewhere else. I don't remember anything else except that I engaged with my grief and the paradox of my inability to let go or stay with a marriage that was no longer working. I wept and cried more than I ever have and subsequently was able to slowly shift my emotional dynamic. Much of that work was through some somatic work beginning with Ximena Hridaya also in San Agustinillo - and my masseuse and psychotherapist back home. My only qualm was my wrong expectation that there would be more in the way of integrative work included but I understand now that that is a larger process that I needed to facilitate with other helpers, which I did. Thank you Isa for holding and protecting the space for me to have this important and healing experience!"

"The founders of Shamanzon, Joel & Martín, are two individuals who hold themselves to a high standard of integrity and it shows. Their presentation of their collaboration and the space / container they create for communal healing is accurate: they deeply honour the lineages these spiritual traditions spring from and it shows in every aspect of the construction of the space. They honour these lineages not by picking up a melange of different rituals and de-contextualising them from the cultures these practices spring from, and not by naming themselves as 'shamans' and pouring the medicine in a western context, but by bringing over their teachers, now their friends, from the Amazon and simply faciliating a space whereby those who are truly within the lineage and have mastered these medicine paths can do their work. It's hard to find such a space, and it's very clear the founders aren't themselves 'in it' for money or for shine, they're in it because these plant medicines speak to their souls and because their initiated teachers have affected their lives and they want to share this with others. Beautiful space, well-tended, sensitive and delicate, and extremely fair fees to boot. Can't recommend these folk and the space they've created enough. "
