About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Francisca is a passionate plant lover, animist, herbalist, and wellness guide, deeply committed to healing and growth. As the founder of Plant Spirit Talk, she combines her roles as a ritualist, counselor, medicine maker, educator, and artist to help others reconnect with the earth for healing and remembrance.
Raised in Brazil, Chile, and California, Francisca continued her journey in the jungles and mountains of Peru, studying with Indigenous teachers from the Mestizo, Quechua, Shipibo, and Q’eros lineages. Her teachers include Amelia Panduro De Sinuiri of the Shipibo tribe and wisdom carriers from the Q’eros families of Quispe Apaza and Chura Flores.
Her deep bond with plants and the spirit world began in childhood, guided by her devotion to Pachamama. A severe health crisis in 2012, which left her disabled for two years, transformed her life. She healed through herbal medicine and plant initiations, embarking on a path of decolonization, self-discovery, and accelerated growth.
In 2013, Francisca formalized her herbal studies at the Berkeley Herbal Center, where she later taught. In 2014, she returned to South America to reconnect with her ancestral roots and learn from Indigenous teachers. Her journey has been shaped by the guidance of human, plant, ancestral, and spirit teachers, awakening her own Medicine. Today, Francisca is dedicated to helping others awaken to their own healing potential, fostering a path of purpose and sovereignty.
