Training: I learned my practice from a psychopharmacologist in New York City - he was practicing western medication for 25 years - namely at mount sinai psych ward until he found Bufo - after which he transitioned to the world of alternative spiritual medicines to help heal others. Another teacher is from the Seri people in northern sonora where the largest toad populations are and where we get the medicine from - a lot of my ceremony structure comes from their practices around Bufo and mushrooms. My education in Kambo comes from a number of teachers one of whom lived with multiple Kambo tribes in the Amazon for 7 years - now he lives in North America serving the medicine and sharing his knowledge. My personal practice with these medicines has been developing for 10 years now.
Integration: I’m always available for integrative talk therapy with my community post ceremony. I also have a network of integrative therapists and healers I might refer people to if they are needing extra attention on their journey after connecting with the medicine.
