Why study with them?
Karen Donald is a writer, ghostwriter, and book coach based in Bali. She has spent many years helping people turn their ideas, experiences, and expertise into finished books. Her work spans memoir, nonfiction, and narrative projects, supporting both first-time authors and experienced writers through the full process of developing, writing, and publishing a book.
Alongside her ghostwriting and coaching work, she runs small writing workshops and retreats designed to give writers the time, structure, and encouragement needed to make real progress on their work. Her approach focuses on practical guidance, honest feedback, and creating an environment where writers can concentrate, think clearly, and move their projects forward.
She has lived in Bali for over two decades and brings together her experience of writing, mentoring authors, and hosting creative gatherings to create retreats that offer both focus and inspiration.
