Pia Sewelies

Pia a visionary dedicated to creating a more connected future through ceremonial and embodied awakening experiences. As a modern medicine woman, she facilitates safe spaces, drawing from her embodied experiences and her expertise as yoga and somatic movement teacher, her extensive study of non-dual philosophy and ancient shamanic healing rituals. Pia transforms ancient practices and traditions into contemporary language, bridging the gap to provide deeply transformative and nurturing transcultural experiences.

She is the founder of Our Future Is Ancient and an advocate for the mindful use of enthogenic medicines and reciprocal living with our Mother Earth. As a Vision Quester under the guidance of her teachers in Ecuador she received the sacred Chanupa (pipe) and is deeply devoted to carrying her prayer and the altars passed on to her with utmost reverence.

After a decade of intensive learning and studying with Indigenous teachers, training in Compassionate Inquiry by Dr. Gabor Maté, over 500 hrs Yoga Teacher training, becoming Usui Ryoho Reiki Master, and a Certified Transformational Life-Coach, she mentors individuals on their unique healing path, reconnecting them with their unique essence and purpose.

One of her core missions is to normalize spirituality and contribute to a more human, more authentic way of living in community on this planet.
